TABRIZ, IRAN - One of my favorite cities we visited during our trip to Iran, was Tabriz, located in Northern Iran. The food, people, culture, and ancient bazaar were all the highlights. In this video, we take you on a Iranian street food tour of the ancient bazaar of Tabriz. #Iran #Tabriz #streetfood
Bazaar of Tabriz - A UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East, it’s also one of the best preserved and most authentic. What was amazing to me is how it’s still in full functioning use, still used in much of the same exact way as its been used for hundreds of years. There are sections of the bazaar for everything - from spices and food, clothes and woodwork. But one of the most fascinating parts of the bazaar is the carpets bazaar, where you’ll find some of the best hand made Persian carpets in the world. Tabriz is known around the world for its exquisite carpet making.
Tabriz Central Mosque - Bazaar of Tabriz - In addition to the amazing Iranian food, we also visited the Tabriz Central Mosque.
Haj Ali Kebab - One of the most famous and best restaurants in Tabriz is Haj Ali Kebab, where you’ll find some of the best kebabs in Tabriz. The kebabs were so incredibly juicy, especially with Persian style butter rice, and some roasted tomatoes and sumac. It was a wonderful lunch within the ancient bazaar.
Shazdeh Restaurant - Along with plenty of street food snacks, our final Iranian food meal at the bazaar was at Shazdeh Restaurant, and one dish you can’t miss are the kufta Tabrizi, one of the ultimate dishes of Tabriz.
It was an amazing day, and a throwback in time, learning about and discovering the ancient bazaar of Tabriz, Iran!

ISFAHAN, IRAN - Isfahan is a special city in Iran, one of the most powerful and one of the most influential cities throughout Persian history - that’s why they call it half the world. I was excited to visit Isfahan, and go on an ultimate Iraninan food tour! #Isfahan #Iran #IranianFood
Azadegan Tea House - Chah Haj Mirza - We began in the evening in Isfahan by going to a legendary tea house, and probably one of the world’s most decorated tea houses. It’s fascinating to walk around, look at all the antiques and memorabilia. The food, is also noteworthy and delicious. We had the Kashke Bademjan - Persian eggplant dip, and Dizi - Lamb and chickpeas stew.
Khoresht Mast - Yogurt, lamb, saffron - This was the most shocking Iranian food in Isfahan - lamb and sweet yogurt? Yes, in Isfahan, people are passionate about a dessert made with lamb! And somehow it just works.
Naqsh-e Jahan Square - Isfahan, Iran - When you visit Isfahan, to get a true feel of the center of the city, you have to visit Naqsh-e Jahan Square, a massive public square with a number of important historical mosques and monuments. It’s spectacular.
Haj Mahmoud Beryani - Restaurant, Isfahan Bazaar - This was one of my favorite meals in all of Iran, for a dish called beryan - Minced lamb, mint, saffron. For lamb lovers, it does not get better than this.
Gaz - Persian Nougat - Next we visited a gaz factory, a Persian sweet that’s famously made in Isfahan. It was interesting to see the process, and taste it too.
Hafez Golha - Milk pudding - Next we stopped at Hafez Golha for his hand made milk pudding. It’s simple and delicious and a great dessert for an evening in Isfahan, Iran.
Khaju Bridge - Historical Bridge - And finally we ended this incredible Iranian food tour and attractions tour at Khaju Bridge where locals gather to sing songs under the historical bridges.
Isfahan is a fascinating city, with such a rich culture, history, and unique delicious food. Thank you for watching.

SHIRAZ, IRAN - Shiraz is one of the most beautiful cities in all of Iran, and once you get there you will immediately know why. The architecture, ancient history, the kindness of the people, and the delicious Iranian food, all contribute to making it such a special city. In this ultimate Iranian food tour of Shiraz, we will eat the most iconic foods of Shiraz, from street food to faloodeh, to home cooking!
Breakfast in Shiraz - Ash Sabzi, which is a porridge of lamb, beans, and tarragon, is a staple of Iranian breakfast, and the best of the best is in Shiraz. It’s a special dish, it’s filling, and it’s incredibly tasty. We went to the right place, it was packed and they sell about 1000 kilos of ash sabzi per day. We also tried their haleem - Porridge of lamb and wheat - that was different from any other versions I’ve ever had. Delicious way to begin this food tour.
Nasir-ol-molk Mosque - The Pink Mosque - One of the most magnificent sights in Shiraz is the Nasir-ol-molk Mosque, also known as the Pink Mosque. The decorations, mosaics, and light, will make you stand in awe.
Jamshidian Lemon Juice, Shiraz, Iran - Shirazi Faloodeh - Persian dessert since 400 BC! There’s no way you can go to Shiraz and miss out on Shirazi faloodeh, a dessert that’s popular now around the world, but started in Shiraz. And we tried an original version.
Tomb of Hafez - Shiraz, Iran - Next up on this ultimate tour of Shiraz, Iran, we visited the Tomb of Hafez, a famous poet. The traditional Persian gardens are spectacular.
Parhami Traditional House ( - This was a real treat of a meal - a home cooked traditional Shiraz food meal at Parhami Traditional House. The food and hospitality were on the next level. Here are some of the main dishes we tried:
Kalam Polo Shirazi - Persian cabbage rice
Ghormeh Sabzi - Persian herb stew
Ghanbar Polo - Rice, meatballs, nuts and dried fruit
Koofteh Sabzi Shirazi - Herb and vegetable balls

Meet the KEBAB KINGS of IRAN!! ????????SWORD CHOPPED Meat-Madness in Bonab! ????

BONAB, IRAN - Ask around in Iran where the best kebabs are, and a likely response you’ll get quite quickly is Bonab. Bonab is a city known throughout Iran for their kebabs. Located in Northern Iran, there was no way we were going to miss an opportunity of a lifetime to eat Bonab kebabs from their source. #Iran #IranianFood #kebabs #streetfood
It was about a 2 hour drive from Tabriz, but it was well worth it. We jumped out of the van, and entered the Bonab market. Eventually we came to the meat section of the market. What’s unique about the Bonad meat market is that you can buy fresh meat, and then bring it to one of the kebab restaurants within the market, and they will immediately on spot make for you fresh kebabs. And in a country that lives of kebabs, Bonab kebabs are special. It’s one of the only places in Iran, where they hand chop your meat using swords, mix it with onions and seasonings, form the kebabs, and grill them, all in one little closet sized Iranian street food restaurant. What truly makes a difference is the hand sword chopped mince of the meat so its not too fine, but remains steaky.
The kebabs were grilled fresh and hot and served dripping in their own fatty juices, and served with roasted tomatoes and chilies. The combination was heavenly, some of the best and most pure kebabs I’ve tasted anywhere in the world. The freshness speaks for itself, and again, the hand ground chopped texture makes all the difference.
Bonab, Iran, truly is the King of kebabs in Iran!

CHABAHAR, IRAN - Chabahar is located in the very southeastern corner of Iran, along the Gulf of Oman, in the Baluchestan (Balochistan) province of Iran. In this video, we ate a bunch of Balochi street food around Chabahar, and visited some of the unique Martian Mountain landscapes. It was another amazing day in Iran! #Iran #Chabahar #streetfood

For this Iranian street food tour of Chabahar, Balochistan, we started in the heart of the city, with a classic breakfast - paratha and a variety of curries. Amazing food, delicious breakfast. We then continued through the main Chabahar Market and on to taste some Chabahar biryani, followed by some of the famous Chabahar bananas.
Martian Mountains - Chabahar, Iran - This is one of the most unique landscapes in Iran, and in the world. The mountains, known as the Martian Mountains, might be as close to Mars as we will ever get. They are truly unique and spectacular especially because of the lack of vegetation so you can see every geographical shape and pattern.
Kebabs - We then continued on to eat kebabs for lunch and fried fish - an amazing meal. The food was to me a mix of Middle Eastern and Persian, all over hot rice smothered in butter and sour orange. An outstanding meal in Chabahar, must eat at when you are there.
Chabahar is a street food paradise at night, because the sun is so hot during the day. You’ll find kebabs galore, and a dish called haleem, a porridge of beans / lentils, and what makes it for me are the toppings of fried shallots, fresh chilies, and lime juice. So amazing I had to have two bowls. We continued eating more street food Chabahar, to wrap up this amazing food day in Chabahar, Iran!

Attari Sandwich Shop ( - We started off this Persian food tour in Tehrangeles, one of the first Iranian communities in LA. One of the most legendary restaurants is Attari Sandwich Shop, where along with many dishes, they are famous for their lamb tongue and brain sandwich. It’s so good!
Saffron & Rose Ice Cream ( - Across the street you’ll find Saffron & Rose Ice Cream for fantastic Persian ice cream and Shirazi style falooda.
Raffi's Place ( - If there’s one Persian restaurant in LA, or in all of the United States that you must try, it has to be Raffi's Place. We had the honor to meet Mr. and Mrs. Raffi, they showed us around their amazing restaurants and we ate lunch with them. They have a hugely inspirational story of how Raffi's Place became one of the greatest Persian restaurants in LA, and the food is outstanding. Don’t miss all the different kebabs and varieties of rice.
Nersses Vanak Restaurant ( - Finally to complete this ultimate day of Iranian food in Los Angeles, we went to Nersses Vanak Restaurant, a relaxed, and again family run Iranian restaurant. Along with a full menu of kebabs and stews, one of the main dishes to eat is their legendary dizi - a stew of lamb, beans, and potatoes, cooked down until fall apart tender - it’s a favorite dish of Iran for me. Their lamb shank is also pilgrimage worthy.
And that completes an amazing day of eating some of the best Iranian food in Los Angeles - in the United States!

DUBAI, UAE - Welcome to Dubai, home to people from around the world and a major population of Persians from Iran. Today MrTaster is taking us on an ultimate Iranian food tour in Dubai. We’re going to eat at 8 spots, everything from Iranian breakfast ash to kebabs to faloodeh to golden koobideh. Get ready for the ultimate single day of Iranian food in Dubai!
Here are all the places we ate in this video:
1. Bandar Bride Special Kabab Restaurant ( - To begin this food tour we started with a classic Iranian breakfast, ash, a meaty porridge that’s the perfect way to get your morning started. We also had a Persian omelet and some tea.
2. Jafer Biman Ali Cafateria ( - Next up we headed to the old souk to have faloodeh, one of the great sweets of Iran, and some cups of lemonade.
3. Walid Mohammad Bakhit Bakery ( - One of the most well known street foods in Dubai is regag bread and this Iranian bakery is one of the oldest in Dubai. Regag bread is similar to a crepe, very thin, and topped with a variety of things like anchovy fish sauce, egg, and cheese.
4. Yashar Palace Restaurant ( - Next up we went to a pretty fancy restaurant called Yashar Palace Restaurant. Their bread was freshly baked and outstanding and what we really came for was the lamb heads. All the different parts were delicious and melt in your mouth.
5. Shiraz Nights ( - Next on this ultimate Iranian food tour in Dubai we went to Shiraz Nights to eat some of my favorite dishes including dizi, a stew of beans and lamb mashed down, and tahdig, the crunchy bottom of saffron rice. We also had gormeh sabzi a vegetable and beans stew that’s one of my favorite dishes of Iran.
6. Cando Restaurant ( - Without a doubt this was one of the best bites of the entire food tour, the lamb neck braised in its own fat at Cando Restaurant. The lamb neck along with onions and garlic was life changing.
7. Sofreh Kitchen & Grill ( - You can’t have an Iranian food tour without having kebabs and so next up we drove over to Sofreh Kitchen & Grill for a massive kebabs feast. Absolutely delicious, their koobideh was the highlight here, incredibly fragrant and juicy.
8. Enigma ( - Finally to complete this amazing Iranian food tour in Dubai we went to Enigma at the Versace hotel, one of the most luxurious Persian restaurants in the world. They are known for their food shows and serving so many dishes with gold. My first time eating golden koobideh! The shows were pretty funny and entertaining.
And that completes again, what was the ultimate Persian food tour in one single day in Dubai. We ate from 7 am - 11 pm, a 16 hour food tour!

RASHT, IRAN - Located in the northern part of Iran, along the Caspian Sea, Rasht is a green and rainy city - and it just happen to rain the entire time we were in Rasht! It also happens to be known for food - if you come to Iran and love food, you don’t want to miss Rasht. In this Iranian food tour, we’ll explore the unique dishes of Rasht, a family cooked local meal, and a vibrant market. #Iran #IranianFood #streetfood
Local Gilan Food Meal - We drove from Tehran straight to our first restaurant, located just outside the city of Rasht. It was a treat to have a local family prepare for us some of the Gilan food specialities. They made a wild bird, along with duck, and a number of different stews, and a number of different fried fish from the Caspian Sea. The use of walnut oil and sour pomegranate paste to flavor dishes, was entirely unique for me, and truly outstanding.
Market at Rasht - Next we headed over to the vibrant market of Rasht where we sampled a number of Iraninan street food dishes including a very unique rice pancake filled with walnuts, and a surprise skewer of lamb intestines roasted with blow torch.
Iranian Kebabs - Kebabs are probably the most well known Iranian food in all of Iran, and Rasht is known for their local style - especially sour kebabs - marinated in sour pomegranate paste. All the kebabs were delicious, but probably my favorite was the ultra rich and oily minced meat kebab that was then dunked into the melted lamb fat oil pan to soak up all the flavor. That’s what you want to be eating at 3 am in the morning.
It was an amazing day in Rasht, Iran, and now I know exactly why they call Rasht an Iranian food capital of Iran!

Mark Wiens and I traveled to the city of Rasht and Masouleh in the province of Gilan, which is in northern Iran and along the Caspian Sea.
A very pleasant city, lush and mostly with rainy weather with beautiful views and a variety of delicious food. For our first taste testing, we went to a restaurant called Mohammad Sibil, which prepared Anchovies, white fish, Fesenjan Khotka and Vavishka stew, which are famous and popular dishes of this region and Iranians, which in fact were very tasty.
Vavishka stew is prepared from a combination of minced meat, onion and fried potatoes. It is just wonderful.
Fesenjan stew is one of the most popular dishes in northern Iran and all Iranian people, which is prepared from walnut kernels, meat, pomegranate paste, pepper, salt and onion and it is very tasty.

Maybe one of the nicest adventures you want to go through in Iran is to take a walk in different streets of any city. A walk on behalf of your stomach and your soul. As for your stomach to fill it with mouth-watering food. And as for your soul to discover some new tastes and flavors that you pretty much won’t forget ever. What I’m talking about here, you won’t find in restaurants. For god’s sake, it’s street food or snack and so damn delicious. What you can grab among street food in Iran may depend on the season you are visiting. Let’s get to know the most popular street foods and snacks in Iran. Here are some options which are most probably the healthy ones.
#Falafel – Iranian Beloved Street Food Ever
Falafel, is totally a vegetarian one, made of chickpeas mostly. They are ball-shape or like a flat patty, the size of a ping pong ball. Generally, Falafel refers to a sandwich. On a bed of different pickled veggies, lettuce, cabbage, and stuff, there are several falafel patties. Plus different sauce that they normally use. The food originally belongs to the south of Iran but as it is a delicious, fast and inexpensive one, you can find it in every corner in each city. Here is the thing; as you know the closer we get to the south of Iran, the spicier the food gets. I can hardly keep up with them. So depending on where you are taking a bite, the burn-degree you might get on your tongue may vary.
In Iran streets, they normally wrap it in a baguette bread but still, there are some nice spots using local traditional bread to prepare the sandwich. Another thing; there are some other nice spots that are self-service meaning they provide you with the bread, falafel balls and all veggies, pickles and separate sauces among which you can choose and wrap your own Falafel sandwich.

MASULEH, IRAN - Located in Gilan province, high within the mountains, it’s a lush green area of Iran, and home to some of the most unique Iranian food you’ll find. The village itself has an extremely unique architectural style. We were invited to a local home where an amazing family cooked us local Gilan Iranian food, including lots of walnuts and pomegranate. Zeytoon Parvardeh - One of the dishes, or condiments that’s common in this area of Iran, is olies, mixed with walnut paste, pomegranate paste, and pomegranate juice. Along with garlic and some sliced herbs, it was probably my favorite olive dish I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Another ingredient I tasted for the first time is, hogweed - Persian hogweed - a very unique tasting seasoning.
As the amazing Iranian food continued to cook, we took a walk around Masuleh village, had some tea and some dizi (stew of lamb and chickpeas), and then headed back to the house for one of the most amazing meals I had during my trip to Iran. The food was spectacular, and it was a meal of trying so many different unique dishes and flavor combinations that I had never experienced before.

Following the trip with Mark Wiens to Gilan province and the beautiful city of Rasht, we visited the attractive and spectacular market of this city.
An amazing market full of life with shops selling a variety of local delicacies. We went to a shop that made a special and popular type of sweet in this area. Mark was very excited to see Reshteh Khoshkar a traditional Gilani sweet.
The main ingredients of this sweet are rice flour, sugar, walnut kernels, and aromatic spices such as cardamom and cinnamon.
In the other part of Rasht market, there are kebabs that are very famous and you can try all kinds of delicious kebabs there.

Today, we're bringing you for LOTS of TRADITIONAL and AUTHENTIC Iran Street Food
These Iranian foods are incredibly DELICIOUS, and worth traveling to Iran for! You have to taste this food at least once in your lifetime!
When you travel to Tehran, you will fall in love with the street food as soon as you arrive! Today, we're starting out with a local Iranian BREAKFAST haleem and Ash dish.
It was found in downtown Tehran in an old bazaar, the Tajrish Bazaar, where there is hundreds of Iranian foods and spices to see!

area where there is street food everywhere! The haleem was SO THICK!!
After this, we're going DEEPER into Tehran by stepping into this HUGE BAZAAR, where there are 1000's of street foods and stalls to visit! This is before we bring you to a MASSIVE IRANIAN MEAT feast in a TRADITIONAL IRANIAN restaurant!
We found a MASSIVE bakery serving traditional Iranian food like Persian bread soaked with date syrup!
And then Mr Taster brought The food ranger to the most buttery Koobideh kebab wrap! It was SOAKED with butter and incredibly juicy!
Next up, we're going to a local Iranian food served in LUXURY style, the PERSIAN MEAT PLATTER at Setaregan Ghaza in Tehran! Here, chef Kapitan Abhed uses his mastery to cook Iranian recipes and make the most tender kebabs in the WORLD!
AND he covers it in a SAFFRON OIL and tomato onion sauce served with SAFFRON RICE!!
After tasting the meat platter in Tehran, Mr Taster invited Trevor and ting to eat the MOST BUTTERY kebab bowl in Tehran, at Kebab Kasei Ardabil!
And we're still going for MORE! We're going for the PERSIAN energy drink at Alibaba Majoon, using SAFFRON ICE CREAM, rose water, banana, nuts, flowers, coffee, and more, to make the MOST POWERFUL persian energy drink!!

Rasht Municipality Square is one of the most beautiful squares in Iran. Historical buildings, important urban buildings, a number of important streets and traditional and modern shopping centers around them have turned Shahr Square into the main square. The history of this historical square dates back to the Pahlavi dynasty.
Apart from walking and enjoying the beautiful scenery, there are many trendy shops and delicious street food around the square. Don't miss the daily and traditional market of Rasht! Here you can buy local products such as fish, olives, handicrafts and all kinds of agricultural products. And listening and watching the playing of street bands has given the square a good atmosphere.
میدان شهرداری رشت یکی از زیباترین میدان های ایران است. بناهای تاریخی، بناهای مهم شهری، تعدادی خیابان مهم و مراکز خرید سنتی و مدرن اطراف آن، میدان شهر را به میدان اصلی تبدیل کرده است. قدمت این میدان تاریخی به دوران سلطنت پهلوی برمیگردد.

Affluent Golsar is bisected by its namesake boulevard, a vibrant thoroughfare lined with office buildings, pastry shops and traditional eateries. Street vendors on tree-shaded sidewalks sell fresh fruits and snacks, while swanky boutiques feature prestigious fashion brands. In addition to hosting chess and taekwondo tournaments, the sprawling Yadegare Emam Sport Complex draws fitness buffs to its gym.

is used during Ramadan and is also known as a special sweet for Ramadan. In the beautiful province of Gilan and especially the city of Rasht, this sweet is prepared for Iftar. In other words, all the fans of this sweet know it as Rasht Khoshkar Rasht. In Tehran and some other provinces, this sweet is prepared in special centers, especially during Ramadan. The main ingredients of the noodles are: rice flour, walnut kernels, sugar, cardamom and cinnamon. The drying string is prepared on a tray made of high purity copper. Of course, this tray must be hot. After the initial purchase or baking, the customer should fry it at home with a little butter or oil, and then fry the noodles in a syrup made from water, sugar, cinnamon and cardamom (which is a syrup similar to Zolbia syrup and Okra is) and after absorbing the sweetness and sweetening, according to your temperament, this traditional and attractive sweet is ready to eat. Noodles consist of rice flour, which is prepared with special tools and a hot copper tray and a special comb, which is made of rice and is known as a funnel or comb for noodles. The dried fruit also has internal contents that are placed inside the abdomen during preparation.
