We travel to our next site on our tour of south west England. Stover Caravan Club Site near Newton Abbot. It is right next door to the Stover Country Park so we have a walk round the campsite and then look round the country park in the beautiful late summer sunshine.

Stover Country Park Caravan & Motorhome Club site
A short drive to and around Stover Club Site. There are NO toilets or showers here. It is next to a busy road but do not let that put you off unless you want complete peace and quiet. We were on pitch 34 (non awning) which is one of the closest to the road and it didn't bother us at all. The site is immaculately maintained and pitches are well spaced. There is a good, short dog walking area but the site is located next door to Stover Country Park.

Stover Country Park
Stover Country Park is situated in the parish of Teignmouth in south Devon.It has an area of 114 acres , It contains woodland, grassland with lakes and marsh.
Throughout the year many types of bird, flowers and butterflies can be found.
Stover Club site
A non-facilities site located next to a beautiful country park on the edge of Dartmoor. If you crave a tranquil break and a wealth of scenic walks, this is the ideal site for your holiday. Stover Country Park is next door to the site and offers a variety of walks or if you fancy something more challenging the wilder terrains of Dartmoor are waiting to be discovered.
Visitors can also enjoy the other aspects of Dartmoor by following the nature trail through a lovely valley to see Becky Falls. You can also opt for a leisurely drive to Canonteign where there is another country park well and a host of delightful waterfalls. There is also a heritage trail near the site called the Templer Way which runs from Haytor to the sea at Shaldon.
Less than a mile away is Trago Mills Family shopping and leisure park which boasts super karts, trawler boats, steam and model railways plus an interactive animal enclosure.
