In this video we'll clarify what happened with the extra $500 for qualifying dependents that's missing from the stimulus checks that went out to those who are on social security, SSDI and SSI who and used the non filers tool to add their information. So yesterday my phone was blowing up with comments on my other stimulus check videos from countless people who come back to my videos to let me know and let others know of the real date that people are finally getting their payments.... this seems to be a very very popular date...
I'll start with this comment here because it has the most information and its also from someone who is on SSDI... and I've been getting so many questions from people on SSDI... so here it is... I finally got info on my stimulus.. I am on SSDI and they are running behind on disability stimulus checks... I also found out that you can not check the info on your iphone... I logged into my laptop because I got locked out of the social security website trying to log in on my phone, even though it was the correct username and password... I spoke to their help desk and they said that you should only check your status on a laptop or computer... make sure to type in the dashes between the numbers on your social security number and do not type in Street.. type in the abbreviated version ST... using this info it came right up!! My stimulus is scheduled for direct deposit into my checking account on May 28th... so remember only use a laptop or computer while using the Get My Payment website... use any abbreviations for street, road, boulevard... and type the dashes in your social security number.... thank the lady at the help desk of the social security website for telling me this information... My stimulus is being deposited into my account in 6 days... hooray!
So yes guys... May 28th seems to be the day... after I saw this one comment I started seeing tons more... here are some more to show you... Finally got a date... everybody check your cards.. it should say on the 28th... then there's this one... Finally! I received my delivery date for my economic stimulus payment. may 28th.... and another... finally!! Regular SS retirement with direct deposit.. will be deposited on May 28th.

In this video I'll talk to you about the third stimulus check and the third stimulus bill. This will be one of the largest stimulus bills that include stimulus checks after the CARES Act and the 900 billion dollar stimulus package that passed in December. We've been in this pandemic for a year now and congress is already working on the stimulus check 3 package that should be included in the next stimulus package using the budget reconciliation. This third stimulus check will be a $1400 stimulus check and adults, children and adult dependents will also get the $1400 stimulus check if passes as is.
We're also going to discuss the HEROES Act. You'll get important information about the CARES Act unemployment so I hope this helps you to learn everything about the stimulus check and the status of your stimulus check money! This stimulus package has provisions to help with unemployment and provide help for small business owners. Sadly, there's nothing in this stimulus package to give additional help to the HEROES and essential workers who have been working this whole time during the pandemic.
Since the CARES ACT passed back in March, I've made several videos about small business forgivable loans like the PPP loan (Paycheck Protection Program) as well as the EIDL Loan (Economic Injury Disaster Loans) from the small business administration (SBA). Ok so the first thing we'll discuss is the $1200 stimulus check... did you finally get yours? please tell me you did... let me know in the comments whats going on with your check... the latest update i've seen from so many people is that a lot of you saw that you were getting your checks deposited on May 6... May 6 seemed to be a popular date... so that was yesterday... did you receive it yet?? Also May 5th was an important date for those on SSI and VA who have qualifying children under 17 years old... you had to go to the non-filer form on the IRS website to add your information to be able to get the additional $500 per child.... but that also seems to not really matter since the IRS instructed many others who are on Social security and SSDI to do the same by the april 22nd deadline but they still received the $1200 only without the additional $500 per child which is very frustrating... because the IRS says if you dont get your $500 per child now.. you'll need to file a tax return for the year 2020 next tax season which is next year in order to claim that $500... that's insane... the people need the money now... not next year... how ridiculous is that. On top of that... I had told you earlier that the IRS said SSI and VA will receive their payments by early may... and now they're saying mid may..... still no specific date... but what I'm seeing a pattern of is that even when a group of people are supposed to get their payments by a certain time... not the whole group gets it at that time... it kinds comes in waves... and if it's direct deposit... it usually hits the bank between wednesday and fridays... so that why may 6 was a popular date... so please if you have an update on your payment put it in the comment so we can collect data points on who is getting payments when...

he reason this is a special alert is because tomorrow... april 22nd is the deadline for those groups of federal benefit recipients to act if they didn't file a tax return in 2018 or 2019 and have dependents so they can quickly receive the full amount of their Economic Impact Payment... they say in the press release... that your $1,200 payments will be issued SOON and, in order to add the $500 per eligible child amount to these payments, the IRS needs the dependent information before the payments are issued. Otherwise, your payment at this time will be only be the $1,200 for yourself... and, by LAW, the additional $500 per eligible child would be paid in association with a return filing for tax year 2020.... so there are two key points here... for those who are on social security and havent received their payments yet... here's the reason... they're waiting for you to enter your information in the non filers web portal if you ddint file taxes for 2018 or 2019 to make sure you add the dependents information so you can receive your full economic stimulus payment... the deadline for this tomorrow.... this is also good news for those who dont have dependents because the IRS say they'll start issuing these payments SOON... how soon?... they didn't put a specific day but I'd say by the end of the week or early next week is not far fetched...
They clearly say all this in the news release.... Following extensive work by the IRS and other government agencies, $1,200 automatic payments will be starting soon for those receiving Social Security retirement, survivor or disability benefits (SSDI), Railroad Retirement benefits, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Veterans Affairs beneficiaries who didn't file a tax return in the last two years. No action is needed by these groups; they will automatically receive their $1,200 payment.
But then they also say... that this first window to add your dependents to get the $500 per eligible child is just for SSA and RRB recipients... SSI and VA recipients have a little more time to add their dependents.. the press release specifically says SSI and VA beneficiaries have some additional time beyond April 22nd to add their children since their $1,200 automatic payments will be made at a LATER date. SSI recipients will receive their automatic payments in early May, and the VA payment schedule for beneficiaries who receive Compensation and Pension (C&P) benefit payments is still being determined.... so theres the answer for those of you who commented on my earlier videos asking when SSI recipients will receive their stimulus check money... EARLY MAY... it's probably not the answer you were looking for and you'd rather it be sooner... but atleast now you have some idea of when to expect the payment and dont look for it everyday...
so just be a little patient and wait... The Treasury Department will make these automatic payments to SSA, SSI, RRB and VA recipients. you'll generally receive the automatic $1,200 payments by direct deposit, Direct Express debit card or by paper check, just as you would normally receive your benefits.

SO here it is straight from the schedule of payments on the SSA website if you're an SSI recipient and you didnt file taxes for 2018 or 2019... and dont have qualifying children under 17 years old... it says... You should receive your$1,200payment in the same way you receive your monthly SSI payment and that's through DirectDeposit andDirect Express by May 13 otherwise... Paper checks will begin to go out on May15.... so this is just as I predicted in my video earlier today...
the chart also says... If the IRS did not already process your $1,200 payment, and you entered your and your children’s information into the tool by May5, you will receive each $500 child payment with your $1,200payment by May 13 if you selected direct deposit in the tool or Mailed checks which will begin May 15. If the IRS already processed your$1,200 payment, or if you missed the May 5 deadline, you must wait to file a tax year 2020 tax return to receive the additional$500 per qualifying child. but Your $1,200 payment is not affected.... by the way... if you havent clicked the like button on the video already... please do so now and also subscribe to keep up to date with all your stimulus check updates... I also got many comments from people on SSI who say they see the May 13th date on the portal... Here's one comment from someone very excited... MAY 13th.. SSI... Direct deposit card.. No Children... Go check the IRS Portal!!!! I just checked and FINALLY have a date!!And here's another one.... I'm on SSI and I checked the get my payment on the IRS website and a payment is scheduled for the 13th of may but its to an account number besides the one hooked up through my direct express card.. should I be concerned... NO again for those with direct express card.. the account number you'll see on the get my payment app is not the account number on your card.. it's a different account number... but dont worry.. your payment will post on your direct express card.

the good news is that the IRS says over 80 million people will get their money this Wednesday april 15th... This used to be tax day when we owed the IRS money but this year the tables are turned and the government is paying us on april 15th... tax day is now july 15th just incase you didnt know that already... this is what the press release from the treasury department said yesterday... Millions of Americans are starting to see Economic Impact Payments deposited directly in their bank accounts. The U.S. Department of the Treasury and IRS expect tens of millions of Americans will receive their payments via direct deposit by Wednesday, April 15. These payments are being automatically issued to eligible 2019 or 2018 federal tax return filers who received a refund using direct deposit. Treasury and the IRS worked with unprecedented speed to get this fast and direct assistance to the American people.... So thats something to be excited about... check your bank accounts tomorrow and make sure to spend that money wisely given the current uncertain economic conditions
People who receive Social Security retirement, survivors, or disability insurance benefits and who did not file a tax return for 2018 or 2019 and who have qualifying children under age 17:
should go to that irs portal to enter their information instead of waiting for their automatic $1,200 Economic Impact Payment. By taking proactive steps to enter information on the IRS website about you and your qualifying children, you will also receive the $500 per dependent child payment in addition to your $1,200 individual payment. If Social Security beneficiaries in this group do not provide information to the IRS soon, you will have to wait to receive $500 per qualifying child.
Next it says... SSI recipients, especially those who have qualifying children under age 17: need to go to that IRS portal and provide information about yourself and your qualifying children. inorder to receive the full amount of the Economic Impact Payments you and your family are eligible for
Next it says that New beneficiaries since January 1, 2020, of either Social Security or SSI benefits, who did not file a tax return for 2018 or 2019: need to go that webpage to enter their information...
Then it says Social Security retirement, survivors, or disability beneficiaries who DO NOT have qualifying children under age 17: DO NOT need to take any action with the IRS. You will automatically receive your $1,200 economic impact payment directly from the IRS as long as you received an SSA-1099 for 2019.
Finally... SSI recipients who do not have qualifying children under age 17:.... they're saying We continue to work closely with Treasury in our efforts to make these payments automatically.... not sure why SSI recipients who have qualifying children can enter their info in that webtool but those who don't have qualifying children... can't.

People are getting their stimulus check and stimulus money but I'm getting a lot of questions in regards to people on SSI. The SSA website has an update saying People receiving SSI benefits who did not file 2018 or 2019 taxes, and have qualifying children UNDER age 17 should immediately go to the IRS’s Non-Filers webpage which I will link for you in the description.... and go to the Enter Your Information section to provide your dependents information.... SSI recipients who have dependent children and did not file 2018 or 2019 taxes need to act by TUESDAY, May 5, in order to receive additional payments for their eligible children quickly. If people in this group do not provide their information to the IRS soon, their stimulus payment at this time will be $1,200 only. They would then be required to file a tax year 2020 tax return to obtain the additional $500 per eligible child...... So if you are on SSI and want to claim children as dependents and you didnt file taxes for 2018 or 2019 dont miss that deadline of May 5th... go to the website as soon as you finish watching this video to update your information and receive your $500 per child... this will save you the effort of filing taxes in a year from now to get your money... There's also a little alert on there for direct express card holders... it says that when you use the non filers portal you will not receive your $1,200 payment on your Direct Express card. You will receive both your $1,200 payment and each child’s $500 payment on a non-Direct Express bank account you can provide, or by mail if you leave bank information empty.... this seems to be targeted specifically to those on SSI and want to claim children as dependents through the portal....
OTHERWISE.... Social Security retirement, survivors, or disability beneficiaries and SSI recipients who do NOT have qualifying children under age 17: ...You do NOT need to take any action with the IRS. You will automatically receive your $1,200 economic impact payment directly from the IRS. You should receive the automatic payments by direct deposit, Direct Express debit card, or by paper check, just as you would normally receive your Social Security benefits.

How will the IRS send my economic impact payment if I have a representative payee?so the answer is if you filed a 2019 or 2018 tax return: Your $1,200 stimulus check was or will be sent to the bank account provided on your tax return for an electronic tax refund, or mailed to the address provided on your tax return if a tax refund was mailed or if there was no refund.BUT.. If you did not file a 2019 or 2018 tax return:An Individual Representative Payee should receive from the IRS the stimulus check for their SSI recipient(s) by May 27 to the same direct deposit account or Direct Express card as the recipient’s monthly SSI payment. We are waiting for confirmation from the IRS when it will mail paper stimulus checks to payees.For an Organizational Representative Payee, the schedule above is the same, except that the payee may receive the stimulus check electronically or by paper check in the mail.

In this video I'll talk to you about the third stimulus check and the third stimulus bill. This will be one of the largest stimulus bills that include stimulus checks after the CARES Act and the 900 billion dollar stimulus package that passed in December. We've been in this pandemic for a year now and congress is already working on the stimulus check 3 package that should be included in the next stimulus package using the budget reconciliation. This third stimulus check will be a $1400 stimulus check and adults, children and adult dependents will also get the $1400 stimulus check if passes as is.
We're also going to discuss the HEROES Act. You'll get important information about the CARES Act unemployment so I hope this helps you to learn everything about the stimulus check and the status of your stimulus check money! This stimulus package has provisions to help with unemployment and provide help for small business owners. Sadly, there's nothing in this stimulus package to give additional help to the HEROES and essential workers who have been working this whole time during the pandemic.
Since the CARES ACT passed back in March, I've made several videos about small business forgivable loans like the PPP loan (Paycheck Protection Program) as well as the EIDL Loan (Economic Injury Disaster Loans) from the small business administration (SBA). The EIDL Loans expired now and this bill should have a second round of PPP loans for small businesses.
