It embraces the southern half of Kruger National Park, a huge nature reserve with abundant wildlife including big game. The province's iconic Blyde River Canyon, among the world’s largest, is known as a green canyon because of its subtropical foliage.

THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT SOUTH AFRICA! | Self-Drive vs Private Reserve in Kruger National Park

We finish our safari adventure self-driving through Kruger National Park and staying at Olifants Rest Camp. A huge highlight for us was spotting a young leopard stalking its prey and having the whole scene to ourselves. We made our way to Honeyguide Rest Camp in the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve. It was nice to relax in a luxury tented camp where all your meals were included. We were taken on two game drives with professional spotters. We were amazed to see leopards, lions, and a massive herd of buffalo plus so much more!

We are so excited to be sharing this South African series and hope you guys are enjoying watching! If you liked this video, give it a 'thumbs up' and leave us a comment down below! ????

South African Couple| Mpumalanga Baecation| Travel| Couple tag| Panorama Route| vacation

Happy Sunday guys ????

Thanks for joining us ???? today we are sharing our Mpumalanga trip with you guys. A while back we decided to visit the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga, we were feeling drained and tired and needed a vacation.

We stayed at La Roca GuestHouse in Nelspruit for the weekend and we must say, what a lovely place with lovely people. You can visit their profile below to check them out

We arrived on a Friday and spent the Friday just chilling at the guesthouse and having some personal and intimate time to ourselves ???? Saturday we woke up and headed to Graskop.

Our first stop was at the Bourkes’ luck potholes the scenery was fun to explore, the trails are marked and it doesn’t tend any fitness to walk the trail. We saw some monkeys having their family time which was great to see and there are tons of lizards between the rocks. After sightseeing we went to the restaurant to have some refreshments before heading out to the next item on our itinerary.

2nd stop was at the Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondavels - man what a beautiful view up there. There were quite a number of people in the area which kind of made taking pictures a little bit tricky. We had to wait for a few groups to finish taking pictures before we got our turn, so word of advise of you’re planning to visit this landmark just have a lot of patience.

From there we went to the Berlin Falls, we never got to the bottom we’re actually not sure if you can go to the bottom but it was refreshing to see a waterfall. If you follow us on Instagram you will know we have so much love for water ???? we didn’t really stay at the Falls because there wasn’t much to see so we left.

By now we were very, in fact we were extremely tired ???? but we felt like there was still something missing in our trip. So on our way back to Nelspruit we saw a sign pointing to the Lonecreek falls and after a very short consideration we thought let’s just do it let’s go to the falls.

The things about traveling is that much of the best experiences are spontaneous and so were the Lonecreek falls they were just marvelous, majestic and very rewarding. We spent the rest of the day there, we got wet, we took pictures and lots of videos. This was the missing piece in our baecation and we found it. There were a lot of people there as well but at this time we didn’t really mind them. We were bothered by a sign that said we mustn’t swim and whenever we see things like that we listen ????

From here we went to the panorama chalets there’s a beautiful restaurant there with an amazing view, unfortunately it was packed and we weren’t allowed in so we drove back to Nelspruit.

As you can imagine by now we were finished we could barely do anything so we took it easy for the rest of the day.

The Sunday was an interesting day we shot a lot of videos and Instagram reels which you will see at the end of this video but to see how they turned out visit our Instagram profiles the links will be down below.

We hope you will enjoy this video and if you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them in the chat box below. Please subscribe to our channel, share with friends and feel free to interact with us, till the next video cheers ????

Panorama Route, South Africa

The Panorama Route is located in Mpumalanga and is an iconic and scenic route in South Africa. The route starts at the foot of the Long Tom Pass and makes it way to the famous Blyde River Canyon, which is the third largest canyon in the world and probably the most famous viewpoint on the Panorama Route. Mpumalanga is also the province with the most waterfalls and therefore it is the best for chasing waterfalls in South Africa.

Come along as we explore this beautiful route.

The MOST spectacular waterfall // Blyde River Canyon

Every adventure sooner or later comes to an end. That does not mean you can't end it with a BANG... Neither does it mean there will not be another adventure to follow! In the final instalment of our trip to Kurger & Blyde we enjoy two more blissful waterfalls. Unfortunately swimming is not too pleasant in winter thus we would recommend cooling yourselves off at Mac Mac Pools if you are in the area in Summer.

Please keep yourself updated as the next Journey of Two adventure is just around the corner...

Welcome to Mpumalanga

The Mpumalanga province is dominated by the Blyde River Canyon – the world's third-deepest gorge; the Sudwala Caves – the world's oldest caves; and the Kruger National Park – arguably the world's most famous wildlife sanctuary. Mpumalanga means 'the place where the sun rises', and while it may be among South Africa's smallest provinces, what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in spectacular natural diversity.

A day in Mpumalanga- Sightseeing in South Africa.

Mpumalanga, the province in which I, Celeste, was born in. It definitely holds a special place in my heart. This past winter we had a chance to spend a day in and around Graskop. This is just a quick video showing what we saw. This is a magnificent province, home to part of the Kruger National Park and many natural sights. We will return soon and capture more of it's beauty.

Locations featured: Graskop, Pilgrem's Rest, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon.
