We arrive at our Somers Wood Caravan Park, an adults only Tranquil Parks campsite, in preparation for the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show 2024 held at the Birmingham NEC from 13th to 18th February 2024. The roadworks on the M42 slow things down. We also take a visit to Nuneaton and find a very nice country inn. We also met @RobandLynnontour who were at Somers Wood for a couple of nights.

We throughly enjoyed our stay and as such wanted to share this with you.

The Birmingham NEC caravan and motorhome show weekend at the adults only somers wood touring park nearby and walk into and around the beautiful town of meridan , after a long day at the show , this camp site was ideal to come back to and relax in , the weather was abnormally perfect , the site itself is clean and well looked after , credit to the wardens who do a good job in keeping it that way , thanks for watching and please subscribe and apologies for the poor footage / quality , ( it was my 2nd attempt at vlogging !! ????????)

Arriving At Somers Wood Caravan Park | Motorhome And Caravan Show NEC 2019
We arrive at Somers Wood Caravan Park, for the duration of our visit to The Motorhome And Caravan Show 2019.
Somers Wood is an adult only caravan park offering 5-star luxury facilities.
The grounds are part of the Forest of Arden, ancient woodlands that separate Birmingham from Coventry in Warwickshire. The caravan site is adjacent to Stonebridge Golf Club and 20 acres of Packington Somers fishing lakes. Somers Wood guests are welcomed at both.
Meriden's Village shops, country pubs and restaurants are within a mile of the park.You can be at the NEC in 6 minutes or in Birmingham city centre within 30 minutes.

A Quality in Tourism 5 star rated site. YCP York Caravan Park is a beautiful, adult only touring caravan & camping site located within the York ring road, yet surrounded by countryside, making it the ideal choice for holiday makers who enjoy peace and quiet, without being miles from the attractions of York.
There are 55 pitches in total, set in 7 acres, all of which are super pitches - they have drinking water, 16A electric, drains, and digital television points and are significantly larger than an average pitch (approx 13m x 20m). Each pitch is level, well drained, and has hedges round 3 sides. Hardstanding pitches are available. Free WIFI.
All facilities are modern and of the highest quality. The facilities include 'privacy rooms' - each with shower, toilet, sink and dressing area. The site has a small wooded area which is perfect for BBQ's and picnics and a lake. Surrounding the park are open fields with our own organic rare breeds of cattle grazing.
Situated only about 2 miles from York Minster itself, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the attractions in the area surrounding this luxury touring caravan & camping site.
A half-hourly bus service runs from outside the site entrance.
