Solo in Guatemala's Most Violent Cartel Hood! (Zone-18)????????

Guatemala City is divided into different zones. The biggest and most violent is Zone 18. It is fully controlled by gang members (Mara 18) and every local I asked warned me not to visit this place at all. Not even its small central market.
I fully respect their advice which is for my own good, but I am very curious to see with my own eyes what this Hood Cartel looks like and most importantly what the locals there have to say about the most dangerous place in Guatemala City.

Let's see.....

I Spent a Day in Haiti's Most Dangerous Slum

Get Access to my (updated) Travel Hacking Course!
First 100 New Members Get a Personally Signed Book of my Top 100 Best Travel Photos!

Guys I have to be honest with you in this one. After visiting all 197 countries and thousands of cities around the world, I can say with 100% certainty that Port au Prince, Haiti, takes the crown as THE MOST DANGEROUS. Yes, more than Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Syria and Iraq COMBINED.

I've never experienced before what I just experienced in Haiti... 80% of the city is controlled by violent street gangs, and when we crossed the sketchy checkpoint to enter the biggest slum called Cite Soleil, we had to get permission from the gang-leading chief to enter. I can't make this stuff up.

I'm just glad that I made it out alive and am here to tell this story. My heart aches for the people in Haiti, who are living through this disastrous situation. I hope the country will return to its thriving days like it was a few decades ago. There is so much potential with stunning beaches, smiling faces, and Caribbean vibes.

Thanks for watching - it took my team of 4 and myself more than 3 weeks to get this story edited. My hope is that this video sparks conversations that contribute to a broader understanding and ultimately, a positive change for the future of Haiti.

Solo Travel in Ecuador's Most Dangerous City | Exploring the Raw Side of Guayaquil (Travel Vlog)

In today's video, I will be traveling to Guayaquil, Ecuador! Throughout my travels in Ecuador, numerous locals have told me about how Guayaquil is the most dangerous city here in Ecuador. After hearing those comments, I wanted to come to experience the southwestern port city for myself.

Guayaquil is a port city in Ecuador, known as a gateway to Pacific beaches and the Galapagos Islands. Stretching along the Guayas River is the waterfront Simón Bolívar promenade, home to the La Rotonda monument. In the north, Las Peñas is a neighborhood full of colorful houses. Stairs lined with cafes and art galleries lead up Santa Ana Hill, the site of Santa Ana Chapel, a lighthouse, and views of the city.

From Cuenca, Ecuador, I took the bus and headed to Guayaquil. There, I walked all over the city and visited: Cerro El Carmen, the Financial District, Iguana Park, the Cathedral of Guayaquil, and the Malecon (riverfront) that overlooks the entire Guayas river. Join me on this adventure to the MOST DANGEROUS city in Ecuador where Tourists don't dare to visit.

However, during my first morning in this notorious city, I found myself facing some equally serious problems.....

I didn't have fresh clothes to wear, so I showed up Naked,...... and the rest is history haha...

Walking Into Japan's Most Feared Yakuza Slum (#135)

Well, this was a change of pace. After journeying across Africa, I hopped on a flight from Uganda to go across the globe all the way to Japan. The Japanese government had just opened the borders to foreigners, and I, being the cunning Gaijin that I am, knew that it was time to go and fulfill my dream of becoming a Yakuza.

First stop? The Nishinari 西成 slum in Osaka. Known as Japan's last remaining slum, it has an infamous reputation across Japan as being it's most chaotic, sketchy, crime-filled neighborhood. There were multiple Yakuza offices, or headquarters, based in the area. But were all these stereotypes based on the past? I was willing to go and investigate.

I Joined The World's Most Dangerous Migrant Trail????????

???????? PART ONE: The migrant crises along the USA's southern border has become a hot topic over the last few years with what seems to be an endless stream of people flooding across the border. But where are those migrants coming from, and why? I decided to go to the source of the issue, Venezuela, a country on the verge of collapse, and travel with the migrants north through Central America to understand the issue better. Join me on what will be my most dangerous and longest journey ever undertaken as we cross the infamous Darien Gap and other areas most people avoid unless escaping poverty.

The Other Side of Japan: Life in Kamagasaki's Informal Settlements.

Subscribe to
Japan is known for its strong emphasis on cleanliness, efficiency, and tidiness. It is not common to see slums in Japan as in other countries, due to strict zoning laws and building regulations. However, there have been instances of informal settlements or poor living conditions in some parts of Japan.

One example is the Kamagasaki district, located in the southern part of Osaka. This area is known as a gathering place for day laborers, mostly men, who work in construction, factories, or other low-paid jobs. Kamagasaki, is considered one of the poorest areas in Japan, with a high rate of unemployment, homelessness, and social isolation.
This episode has been filmed in September 2019.
