This is really surprising for me too that I found a village name Sita haran In Kashmir which is having a kind of history.A village known for its spring, Sita Haran (Sutharan) is located near Tosa Maidan. According to local legend, the place is associated with Ramanaya. During the (Vanvas) Baghwan Ram Chander ji stayed here during his 12-year-long exile with Lakshman and Sita ji. There is a small spring and as per legend prevalent among the Hindus, Sita ji used to bathe in the spring.
