My daughter bought me the excursion Everybody Loves Rays & Sharks! (Stingray Beach Cozumel). Check out my review below! I read the excursion description and looked at the pictures and was excited to go since I actually do love stingrays and sharks (nurse sharks). It was a short bus ride from the ship terminal to Stingray Beach Cozumel. The first 30 min was a stingray encounter where they let you feed the stingrays and take photos with the stingrays. Unfortunately, they do not allow personal cameras in this area because they want to sell you their photos. This is why there is no footage from the stingray encounter. Next up was the snorkeling in the large enclosure which lasted about 30 min where they did allow you to use your own cameras. We snorkeled around as the guide fed the stingrays and I got some wonderful footage of the stingrays one of which was pregnant and even a nurse shark.
My takeaway from this experience... I was expecting an open area where stingrays and nurse sharks congregated naturally (or at least I was hoping). The stingrays did not appear as healthy as those in the wild and the guide said they are rescues. Many of the stingrays had scars and abrasions. They also remove the stingray barbs for the safety of the visitors. The barbs do grow back over time and since the stingrays are enclosed they do not need them for defense, but I am still not comfortable with the practice. I would rather experience stingrays in their natural habitat. Next time I visit Cozumel I plan on visiting Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park for snorkeling or one of the reef excursions. Keep this in mind when you plan your next Cozumel excursion.

Odyssey of the Seas Day 3 Cozumel | Everybody Loves Rays & Sharks Excursion
We start our morning with breakfast at the Solarium Bistro. I give a quick tour of the offerings here. Most people are not aware they serve breakfast, so it is much less choatic than the Windjammer. You do not have as many offerings, but if you are an eggs and bacon kinda family like ours, this is the perfect place for breakfast on the ship.
Day 3 on @RoyalCaribbean Odyssey of the Seas brought us to Cozumel, Mexico. Here we went to Stingray Beach as we had purchased the Everybody Loves Rays & Sharks! Excursion through Royal Caribbean. This was an excellent excursion, even with a 6 year-old. There was a 4 year-old in our group as well. We had an amazing time and I cannot recommend this excursion enough.

Cozumel Stingray Encounter & Snorkel | Shore Excursion | NCL
Everybody loves friendly Rays! Enjoy two great ray activities -a personal encounter plus shore-side snorkeling. Then relax and have fun at a private shore club with its resident, friendly critters, and water trampoline. Mere minutes from your ship, you’ll be provided with snorkeling gear and briefed on equipment and the rays. Your guide works with small groups to give you personal attention.

Carnival Cruise | Cozumel | Shore Excursion | Everybody Loves Rays & Sharks | Review (5.5/10)
Our 2020 Carnival Horizon Cruise took us to Cozumel, Mexico where we took a shore excursion and swam with some sand sharks and southern stingrays. The location was just down the street from the pier were the ship docked, just a 10 minute drive and was a very smoothly run excursion. The excursion was split into two parts, the first half spending hands on time learning about the stingrays and holding one for some pictures and the second half snorkeling with sand sharks and stingrays in a larger area. The only negative about this excursion is the pushing of the staff trying to hard sell you on photos of your time for an outrageous price. We would recommend this to people who are comfortable swimming around in ocean water, not afraid of stingrays or sand sharks and looking for an easy to get to way to spend your time not far from where the cruise ships dock in Cozumel.
