مسافرت زميني من در پارك ملي يلواستون، بخش اولد فيث فول در ايالت مانتانا. قدمت اين مكان به اندازه عمر زمين هست. حوضچه هاي اَب جوش زيادي در اين منطقه وجود داره كه قابل شنا كردن نيست چون پوست و استخون رو ذوب مي كنه. اين مكان با ارزش در سال ١٨٧٢ ميلادي به پارك ملي تبديل شد تا دست نخورده براي ايندگان بمونه.

My sisters, my dad, Dan, and I tooled around Yellowstone for a few days. Although it was not the goal, we ended up staying in some nice lodges and I found it very peaceful. But true to form, we wrapped up the trip staying in one of the more secluded campgrounds in the frontcountry of Yellowstone!

In most cases when I put together a video of a fishing destination it culminates with images of wild trout in beautiful places. Slough Creek in Yellowstone National park is one of those beautiful places that you just can't leave behind. What's lost in translation sometimes is all of the other things that make such a hike memorable--getting there and back. This video is of a hike in Yellowstone National Park to Slough Creek with my brothers, Richard and Colin, along with nephew Taylor (aka pointman bearslayer). What a great hike including the final 2 miles in grass stuffed socks. The journey is the destination. Bears, bugs, blisters and brothers.

The Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park is literally where the Buffalo Roam, and the Deer and the Antelope play, and it's hard not to visit this place and not come away with a new respect and understanding for the world around you.
I've visited this three times, and each time have been blown away by something I've seen. This time it was a large coyote being pursued by, of all things, a pronghorn! Apparently, the coyote got a little too close to the pronghorn's babies and that was that - the pronghorn chased it across the road in front of my car at a full sprint, all they way across the valley floor until that coyote jumped in the river...But that wasn't the end of it! The Pronghorn jumped in after it and chased it up and over to another part of the bank and out of site! For all we know they're still running...

Following all the drama of another BEAR SCARE in Yellowstone, our group gears up to fish down through the second meadow of Slough Creek, which was not at all disappointing.

Many visitors to Yellowstone choose stay in the park at one of the many lodges, or at campsites with their vehicles. However, you usually have to book way in advance to get the best spots, so finding the right place to stay near the park can be a make or break aspect for your enjoyment at America's premier national park.
When deciding where to stay near Yellowstone, I look for a couple of things: proximity to the park, comfort and style of the facilities, and activities other than the park that may be available nearby.
Using these criteria, I've compiled a list of my 5 favorite places stay. This list is by no means definitive. I have stayed at places that are very nice that check all my boxes on the list, but to be on this list, there has to be something special about the place that makes it different than anywhere else.
That's why the Best Western in Cody isn't on here, even though it's a great place to stay. Or the Buffalo Bill Cabins adjacent to that property.

This day 1-3 of an 8 day backpacking trip with my buddy Joey of @myownfrontier in the Greater Yellowstone, Teton Wilderness area. This is Wild America at its best as far as my experience goes. We go into some of the most wild and remote areas of the lower 48 states and find the headwaters of the Mighty Yellowstone River. Amazing vistas and views as we traverse the Continental Divide in the middle of an incredible wildflower bloom. Stunning waterfalls, meadows, mountains and creek crossings everywhere in prime Grizzly country. Part 2 will be out soon and will take us from the North Fork of the Yellowstone River, over to and through the Thorofare Creek drainage, Open Valley, Overlook Mountain, Glacier Basin, Rampart Creek and much more. We didnt see any people except for the first and last day. This trip is from outside the boundaries of Yellowstone National Park.
