We were greeted, introduced to a 'gem' (butler) which gave us a tour of the small island including the bedroom.

Spent a week in the Maldives at the Six Senses Laamu Resort and it was the most amazing hotel experience ever. After 5 airports, 4 flights and 1 speed boat, all you want to do is relax.
The resort is breathtaking at first sight. You are immediately greeted by your GEM (Guest Experience Maker) when you arrive by speed boat. He/She will give you a tour of the resort and will let you know of all your dining and activities offered at The Six Senses.
After a brief tour you are taken to your room, in the case, an over water villa. Large king size bed, mini bar, toilets with a view, outdoor rain shower and sea through bathtub are just a few of the highlights of the villa. Lounge around on the massive outdoor deck or relax on the roof deck with amazing views of the Indian Ocean.
Breakfast was always a fun meal. Wake up to the sound of ocean waves and get on your bike for a morning ride to the main jetty. A buffet with dishes that can please everyone, awaits.
I do apologize for the sad recording. It was my first time using the Gopro Silver! :)
