Barcelona Beach Walk August 2021 at Castelldefels Beach 4K
A good and cheap destination for those hungry for sun is Castelldefels. Located at the Costa del Garraf – where you also can find Sitges or Garraf itself – it offers a wide and long beach with enough space for everybody. Although the town has become quite touristic with all the hotels and restaurants at the beach promenade, it is still very relaxing compared to the city beaches in Barcelona.
Barcelona Beach Walk at Platja de Les Barques Montgat
A look around in Barcelona at Platja de Les Roques to Platja de Les Barques Montgat. It was sunny day, around 1:00pm in the afternoon.
➡️Montgat Beach is 14 kilometres North-east of Barcelona. It is easily reachable by train within 20 minutes from Placa Catalunya.
➡️For even more space on the beach stay on the train up to Montgat nord. The train station is literally next to the beach which here 2.5 kilometres long and around 30 metres wide.
➡️You will find much less people and fewer beach vendors than in Barcelona which makes Montgat beach more tranquil than Barcelona's city Beaches of Barceloneta or Nova Icaria.
Arrive➡️From Barcelona Sants Station or Plaza Catalunya Station take the renfe train line R1 and get off at Montgat or Montgat Nord which is even less populated.

Sitges | a small beach resort town where only 35 mins from Barcelona
Sitges has been a resort town since the 19th century, and was a key location for the Modernisme movement, which paved the way for the likes of Picasso.
In July and August, Sitges cranks up the volume to become one big beach party, while Carnaval unbridles the town's hedonistic side. But despite the bacchanalian nightlife, Sitges remains a classy destination: its array of galleries and museums belie its small size, there’s a good choice of upmarket restaurants in its historic centre (which is lined with chic boutiques), and the October film festival draws culture fiends from miles around. The town is quieter during the off season, but you can still get a feel for it.

Playa de Cubelles / Platja Llarga is a lovely and tranquil beach located in the municipality of Cubelles in the Province pf Barcelona, Spain. It’s an hour train ride from Barcelona City center passing by Sitges, and next to Vilanova i Geltru, and cost 11€ roundtrip.

Platja dels Balmins is one of the most lovely and gay friendly beaches in Sitges, Spain, situated on the east side of the town. After a day at the beach there’s a restaurant nearby where you can have your meal while enjoying the beach views and the sun.
Sitges is a beautiful city just 35 minutes from Barcelona City by Rodalies Renfe trains. It’s famous for its Horror hello Film Festival, Carnival, LGBT Community, beaches, nightspots and historical spots.

4K Walking Tour of Barcelona Beach, Spain - Beach Walk in Barceloneta in May 2022
Welcome to La Barceloneta Beach, in Barcelona, Spain! Today we go for a beach walk, on the promenade of the Barceloneta neighborhood.
Located in the traditional fishing district, Barceloneta, which is Barcelona's classic neighborhood next to the sea. This is one of the most popular attractions in the whole city. And for a good reason: its beaches are one of the longest, most renowned and most visited in the capital of Catalonia.
You can find great services and the promenade is full of restaurants, cafes, and bars where you can take cover from the sun and enjoy fresh, delicious seafood, or a cold drink.
Not far away from La Barceloneta is Port Vell, where you can find the Maremagnum shopping center and do some shopping if you fancy some nice stuff. Here you can also watch a movie in the IMAX Theatre or visit Barcelona’s remarkable Aquarium, which is very nice. I definitely recommend it!

Platja de la Bassa de Rodona is the main gay beach in Sitges situated close to the city center. The town can be reached from Barcelona City by Renfe train in just about 40 minutes.
