Service is truly amazing on this 3 hour and 33 minute flight from Singapore to Hong Kong onboard this retrofitted B777-300ER. The cabin crew work with clockwork precision, and prove themselves to be polished service professionals. Waiting time for drinks or lunch service to commence is minimal, yet service is unrushed and performed with bright smiles, a display of genuine Singapore Airlines hospitality.
The meal choice (a showcase of popular Singaporean cuisine, as part of Singapore Airlines 70th anniversary celebrations) is delectable, and KrisWorld entertainment is superb. However, the highlight of the flight is still the cabin crew team's amazing hospitality. I am truly impressed.

G’DAY OWFsquad, welcome to my 36th flight in 2019! On 26th July, I flew Singapore Airlines from Hong Kong to Singapore, the aircraft was operated by a new A380. Singapore Airlines fly seven times daily from Singapore to Hong Kong with one that goes onwards to San Francisco. Singapore Airlines also utilise a variety of aircraft on this route including the A350-900, A380 and B787-10. Cathay Pacific fly nine times daily with a variety of aircraft types including the A350-1000 and B777-300. One of the daily flights go via Bangkok. Jetstar Asia and Scoot also fly between the cities.

FLIGHT REVIEW:
INTRO | I was so lucky to get the retrofitted Boeing 777-200ER instead of the old cabin. The cabin looked decent although not as great as their latest cabin product.
It was a full flight to Hong Kong as HK is one of their busiest routes in Asia.
CABIN CREW | The crew were professional and attentive. I notice that this set of crew were very excellent. Top notched service indeed.
INFLIGHT MEAL | There were 2 choices available for main course, Fish or chicken. This time i went for the fish option. This was what i got in the meal tray:
x POACHED CHICKEN WITH GREEN BEANS AND SESAME SOY DRESSING
x DEEP FRIED FISH IN CHIVE AND GARLIC OYSTER SAUCE SERVED WITH RICE AND VEGGIES
X ICE CREAM
x MINERAL WATER
x WHITE WINE
The catering out of Singapore was excellent. The main course was delicious and flavorful.
BOTTOM LINE | Flying with Singapore Airlines is always a joy in my opinion. Every little details were taken care of. The cabin crew are indeed the asset of the airline since they are the one who make the airline. What i can say is “Top notch service”

Singapore Airlines A350-900 Economy class Singapore to Hong Kong SQ860 (flight review #45)
On March 14, 2019, I finally got to try the Singapore Airlines A350 service from Singapore to Hong Kong. I would have to say that SQ is much better than CX in many ways. First, SQ provides both a blanket and a pillow in economy class for this short flight, while CX does not provide a blanket or pillow on the seat in economy. Also, SQ gives you metal utensils with your meal in economy class, while CX only gives you plastic utensils, even in premium economy! Lastly, SQ provides a menu card in economy on this short flight, while CX does not. Overall, a great flight with SQ and a good two steps above CX.
