NEW SINGAPORE AIRLINES SILVERKRIS BUSINESS CLASS LOUNGE TOUR at Changi Airport Terminal 3 in 2022
Happy National Day for all Singaporeans out there!
Welcome to the new and updated Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport in Terminal 3. This lounge is exclusive to all Star Alliance passengers traveling on First and Business Class flights. Opened in early 2022, this lounge has been updated and has a much improved ambience compared to its predecessor, where the lighting was dark and the lounge became dated.
The food options on offer have become better over time, and the amenities have improved especially with their bathrooms. Personally, I would recommend flying business class just to use this lounge.
For those people with Star Alliance Gold and not travelling on First nor Business Class, you'll have to use the Krisflyer Gold Lounge - but that one is very good too (they even have shower facilities now). The food options are not as great as that of the SilverKris lounge but they are still very good for lounge food, whereas comparable lounges tend to have worse food options.

Hey guys, this was our last day in Singapore and we decided to spend it at Singapore's Changi Airport. It is one of the largest and most modern airports in the world. The airport has four terminals and a fifth terminal is currently under construction.
This airport has everything and you can easily spend an entire day and still it won't be enough. You can shop here, watch movies, play games, take a dip in a swimming pool, take a stroll in different type of gardens but most famous & amazing part of the airport is the Jewel.
Jewel features a wide range of attractions, including a 40-meter indoor waterfall known as the Rain Vortex, which is the world's tallest indoor waterfall. There is also a five-story garden called the Forest Valley, which features over 900 trees and 60,000 shrubs.
One of the unique features of Jewel is the Canopy Park, a 14,000 square meter rooftop garden with attractions such as walking trails, mazes, and sky nets.
Overall, Changi Airport Jewel is a must-see destination in Singapore.

Visiting the Jewel Changi was something i'd been really keen on doing in Singapore. So much so that even though i was sick as a dog when in Singapore, I wasn't going to let the opportunity to see the Jewel, i.e. the newest addition to the world's BEST AIRPORT (voted so by Skytrax for seven consecutive years) slip before i left the country.
I didn't do as much research on the Jewel as i should've... and in my mind, my silly assumption made sense.
Anyway...if anything i hope you don't make the same mistake i do when visiting Jewel Changi. Although i was disappointed, i managed to explore Terminal 1, Terminal 2 AND Terminal 3 of Singapore Airport - got to see a BUNCH of stuff (the airport has a butterfly garden, a sunflower garden and a whole range of other cool stuff) and i was also able to get (unlimited rides) on the airport sky train, so not all was lost.
Honestly, i'm still kinda embarrassed and baffled at myself lol. i'm not usually like this... i promise.
I hope you enjoyed my perspective of Singapore's Changi Airport.

~ Lounge Review ~

~ Check-in Experience ~
Singapore Airlines (SQ) Business Class experience in Singapore's Changi Airport begins in the middle of the Departure concourse of Terminal 3, which is where Singapore Airlines directs their Business and Premium Economy Class passengers to. While the counters can get busy at times, take comfort in the knowledge that the queues at the Economy Class counters are a lot worse.
There are no dedicated immigration counters for Business Class. However immigration was efficient and before long, we headed left towards the escalator that led to the SilverKris lounges. After getting you boarding pass verified at the foyer, head straight ahead towards the Business Class Lounge entrance.
~ Comfort ~
Upon entering the Business Class Lounge, you are immediately given a choice of heading left, towards the dining area and buffet line, or towards the right, where the bar and additional seating can be found. There were a variety of seating options including single seats with low, wraparound walls, regular dining tables and bar tables and stools. There are no private resting cabins but there is a communal quiet space with semi enclosed cubicles for those in need of a nap.
The lounge can get quite busy during meal times. That said, there has been a noticeable improvement since the re-opening of the other Singapore Airlines lounges in Changi Airport. Note that the Business Class SilverKris Lounge is also open to Business Class passengers from Star Alliance partner airlines.
~ Food ~
The Business Class Lounge offers a hot, self-serve buffet selection. There are two simple made-to-order counters that typically serve up noodles and a food platter. Naturally, main courses vary slightly for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

4 Muslim Meals Airplane Food on Singapore Airlines Changi versus Heathrow Which Was Better?
Muslim meals! Special order! I flew to London and back in March 2022. For both flights, I ordered special meals - Muslim meal! Take note to order special meals, you must do it at least 48 hours before your flight. Log into the Singapore Airlines website with your booking reference (or use the mobile app) and you can place your orders. Special meal orders like Muslim meals are complimentary. If you don't order in advance, you will NOT be able to get Muslim meals on board! You will have to choose from the standard menu.
So, in this video, I will show you all 4 Muslim meals. Two for the Singapore to London leg and two for the London to Singapore leg. Which was better? You'd be surprised. Watch on to find out!
