This video gives and idea of how the guided tour of Film City from inside the AC bus takes off and reaches various sets and AC studios. Some of the sets are very old and few chances frequently depending upon the serials TRP and responses.
It takes about 3 Crores to 10 to 12 crores to get such sets inside filmcity with about 3 to 4 months to get it reach for Art direction and shoot. There are many vanity vans seen and couple of on road outside studio shoots.
From Showman Subhash Ghai to Famous Reliance Media Offices everything is covered in this tour. Goregaon filmcity has lots to be seen, From fil sets of upcoming SRK film raees to famous tv serials like tarak mehta ka oolta chasma's gokul dham society, court, temple, B R Chopra real home and much more.
You wont get change to get down of tour bus and walk along the road for every destination but just 2 fixed locations like Top mountain location from where you see powai lake and surrounding aerial view of Mumbai and other one being the famous temple inside film city.
Luckily we got to see couple of tv serial shoots, One being the famous 'Yum Hai Hum'.

Set up by Ramoji Rao, the head of Ramoji group in 1991, Ramoji Film City is a spectacular getaway a little outside the city of Hyderabad. It is spread over 2500 acres and has been certified as the World's largest Film Studio Complex by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Best Time to Visit Ramoji Film city:
The best time to visit Ramoji Film City is during winter as Hyderabad gets very hot during summers. You should visit Ramoji Film City from October to February, when the weather is cool and at its best.
Tips for Visiting Ramoji Film city:
1. Wear comfortable walking shoes
2. Carry water bottles, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses as it can get pretty hot here
3. Beware of monkeys in the garden areas
4. If you want to cover entire film city in a day be a little fast in watching the sites
5. Keep yourself hydrated as in the second half of the tour, lot of walking is there
How to Reach Ramoji Film City:
Local transport facilities are available and easy to get. The nearest railway station to ramoji film city is Secunderabad Jn Train Station which is 22 km away from Ramoji Film City. But if you are travelling in your own vehicle, take the straight road on the Vijayawada Highway from the main city. With a little help from your GPS or the local people, you will reach Ramoji Film city within an hour. Apart from that while booking the tickets from site bus option is available which is very nominal for pick and drop (INR 250 per Pax).

Mumbai Filmcity Tour | Fun Things to do in Mumbai
Join me for a virtual tour of Mumbai Filmcity, the heart of the Indian film industry. I took a tour of the Filmcity in 2021, and in this video, I will share a glimpse of my tour around the Filmcity.
My tour:
It was a guided tour that showed us behind the scenes of Bollywood and what life is like on a film set. We explored various sets, soundstages, and outdoor locations that have been featured in countless films and TV shows. We were also hoping to catch a glimpse of Salman Khan as the Big Boss shoot was ongoing. However, we were only able to see his vanity vans parked outside the set.
If you're a fan of Indian cinema or just curious about the film industry, you won't want to miss this video. So come along with me and take a peek inside the Goregaon Filmcity in Mumbai. Who knows, you might even be inspired to plan a visit to the Filmcity yourself!
P.S: The Filmcity doesn't allow walk-ins. Therefore, the best way to explore the place is via guided tours, here are a few that I recommend.
