HOW TO GET TO BEIJING FROM SHANGHAI BY HI-SPEED BULLET TRAIN (CHINA Travel Blog, Tips & Reminders)

How to travel from Shanghai to Beijing #China by train?

Getting to #Beijing from #Shanghai, you may take a domestic flight or take the high-speed trains. We chose to take the train because it's cheaper and also for us to experience China's fastest train. With a speed of 250-350 km/hour for G Trains, you can reach Beijing from Shanghai in less than 6 hours. How cool is that?

China : Shanghai to Beijing by World's Fastest Fuxing Bullet Train

Welcome to Shanghai Railway station and today we are going to travel to Beijing in China from Shanghai 2 of the largest metropolis in China. This new Fuxing Hao bullet train is the fastest in the world and covers the distance of over 1200 km in 4hrs 30 min.

The Beijing–Shanghai high-speed railway (or Jinghu high-speed railway, from its name in Mandarin) is a high-speed railway 1,318 kilometres (819 mi) long that connects two major economic zones in the People's Republic of China: the Bohai Economic Rim and the Yangtze River Delta. Construction began on April 18, 2008,[3] with the line opened to the public for commercial service on June 30, 2011. It is the world's longest high-speed line ever constructed in a single phase. The line is one of the busiest high speed railways in the world, transporting over 180 million annual passengers in 2017 more than the annual ridership of the entire TGV or Intercity-Express network. It is also China's most profitable high speed rail line, reporting a 6.6 billion yuan net operational profit in 2015.

First, trains would be slowed to a maximum speed of 300 km/h (186 mph), reducing operating costs. At this speed, the fastest trains would take 4 hours and 48 minutes to travel from Beijing South to Shanghai Hongqiao, making one stop at Nanjing South.[ On September 21, 2017, 350 km/h operation was restored with the introduction of China Standardized EMU. This reduced travel times between Beijing and Shanghai to about 4 hours 18 minutes on the fastest scheduled trains, attaining an average speed of 291.9 km/h (181.4 mph) over a journey of 1,302 km (809 mi) making those services the fastest in the world.

I am an avid traveler, like to see places of interest - Historic, Natural Beauty, Hindu Pilgrimage sites, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, popular tourist destinations around the world. I capture what I am fascinated with and I also capture my journey by train, Rail Road, Ship, Air. I am fascinated by the uniqueness and diversity of the different modes of transportation.

My Camera Gear - I use different Cameras for different purposes. My TOP Camera for long Zoom and some fascinating 4K stuff it is Panasonic FZ 300. Canon G7X MKII is my ideal choice for wonderful Video logging and some night photos. For catching actions, scenes on the go, and some hard stuff to catch using normal cameras I use GoPro - GoPro Session 5 and GoPro Hero Black. For on the spot, on the Go and unanticipated and unexpected catches I use my new iPhone XR / OnePlus 6.

FIRST time on High Speed Train in China | China Travel Guide

Today we caught our First Bullet Train in China. We travelled on a high speed train from Shanghai to Chengdu. It was really really really to fast ????????????

#chinatravel #highspeedtrain #chinatrains

Bullet trains in China are by far the best way to get around. Even if your travelling hundreds of kilometres the bullet trains in china are often faster than flying.

The bullet trains speeds can often be 300km per hour or higher. They’re amazing!

We purchased our bullet train tickets in China on cTrip. An online booking system for bullet trains. It’s easy to use and is an affordable option.

Our advice would be to arrive at the station early to pick up your bullet train tickets. There is often a long line at the station and it can take an hour or more to collect your tickets. We missed two of our bullet trains in China because we didn’t leave enough time to collect the tickets. Don’t make the same mistake!
