Our story continues with Stef talking about how difficult going back to chemo is. Stef explains how hard it is to knowingly put yourself back into a harmful situation. Chemotherapy is the worst thing Sean and Stef have ever experienced. The pain. The trauma. The emotional rollercoaster. It is such a terrible disease that sometimes the emotions spill over. Good news, Stef's spirits are raised during Tea Time. Every Sunday we know that we will get to smile for at least 60 minutes and that to us, is invaluable. We love our online family!

Our story continues with Sean having a rough day emotionally. Chemo creates these dark, negative feelings inside and it's so hard to not fold in on yourself. Sunshine to the rescue. To combat the negative, we take a short lunch break and head over to Disney's EPCOT for a little vitamin D and exercise. EPCOT always makes us happy and it was great to be outside and walking. Sean also describes and talks about how he met Stef.

Our story continues in Jacksonville, Florida. We spent the night at the Four Points by Sheraton on Jacksonville beach to be ready for a full day of Mayo Clinic appointments. Today Sean will be getting a CT scan that will be discussed at tomorrows doctor visit. After the scan, Stef takes Sean over to check out Cancer Survivors Park in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. The park was an amazing testament to the strength and resilience of cancer survivors. It was emotional but it was an absolutely wonderful experience.

Our story continues with Stef hanging the pictures she created for Sean and then it's off to Jacksonville to visit the Mayo team. Today Sean has a blood test and CT scan to evaluate where his pancreatic cancer is at this point. This is the first test off of the clinical trial and will be the baseline for treatment from here on out. One of the blood tests comes back not-so-positive and Sean & Stef try to cope with the news.
