Discovering the Beauty of Samoa's Polynesian Culture
Of all the places Robert Louis Stevenson (famed travel writer and author of Treasure Island) explored, it was Samoa where he chose to stay, and to be buried. These lush volcanic islands are among the most beautiful places on Earth, and the cradle of Polynesian culture.
We spent time on both of Samoa’s two main islands—Upolu and Savai’i—and dove off of Manono Island, which is found in between. Both main islands have incredible swimming holes, including at the base of enormous tropical waterfalls, as well as lagoons, lava fields, blowholes, and pristine beaches...not to mention some world-class surf breaks.
Some of our favorite spots were Lalomanu Beach, Alofaaga Blowholes, and the drive to Falealupo, all of which are featured in the video. But for as much as we loved Samoa’s natural beauty, it was the warmth and the hospitality of the local people which blew us away.

Samoa is a collection of ten idyllic tropical islands situated in the South Pacific. It is easily accessible by plane from either Australia or New Zealand.
Once you land in Samoa visitors will be transported to another world where the weather is warm and tropical all year round and the locals have a very friendly, relaxed style of life, far removed from the hectic bustle of modern Cities.
Upulu and Savaii are the two major islands in the group where the majority of Samoas standout attractions can be found. These are typified by stunning jungle mountain ranges, plunging waterfalls, ancient volcanoes and sweeping beaches bordered by coral reefs and clear sparkling water.
Beach Fales are a traditional and extremely common type of room to stay in and are almost always situated right on the beach. Other resorts offer typical western styles of luxury accommodation.
Samoa is offers excellent value for money and is an ideal choice if you wish to relax in tropical paradise.

Our last big adventure took us through the beautiful islands of Western Samoa. Flying there is already an adventure as you're just flying over the deep blue pacific ocean for hours and hours. If you wanna know more about cool places to explore in Samoa just leave us a comment below! :)
But as beautiful as Samoa looks like, climate change is already affecting the islands. During high tide some beaches are not accessible anymore, which wasn't the case a couple of years ago (some locals told us). Also as you may noticed in the video some corals are white. That means they're bleached as the water temperature is too warm for them. So try to take action every day for a better tomorrow!

Samoa - South Pacific (1080 HD)
Here is a tour of Samoa Islands: Upolu and Savaii. This small country located in South Pacific was a big surprise! It was not crowded of tourists particulary during the wet season where the weather is still very good. Samoa's nature has a lot to offer (from green to deep blue) and the people are super nice.
Finaly after swiming with wild dolphins, encountered a lot of seals in New Zealand, we finaly met a few sea turtles while snorkeling in Savaii island.
