It's not only a good place to shop but also to meet people as a lot of locals do. There are some great options for lunch for the equivalent of about $5 Australian.

The bungalows are modern and well equipped, including air conditioning but maintain traditional Samoan style. The resort also has a bar, a pool and other facilities. It's a good place for a wedding or a honeymoon but also caters well for families.

Afu A'au Waterfall, Samoa (1080HD)

For more great information, photos and video about Samoa, see PleaseTakeMeTo's Samoa Travel Guide -

This pretty little waterfall and swimming hole is 5 minutes drive off the main road on the South Coast of Savai'i, not far from Aganoa beach.

It has to rank as one of the best, if not the best of the many waterfalls in Samoa, but most of the time you're likely to have this idyllic spot all to yourself and you can even drive right up to it.

If you do make the journey on foot through teh coconut plantation and down a tricky bank you are likely to be sweaty again afterwards, but it will certainly be worth it. As usual, there's a small fee payable to the locals and as usual, it's worth far more than the asking price.

Mt Matavanu Crater, Samoa (1080 HD)

For more great information, photos and video about Samoa, see PleaseTakeMeTo's Samoa Travel Guide -

Mt. Matavanu crater is on the north coast of Savaii by the village of Safotu, a 30 to 45 minute drive off the main road on a 4 wheel drive track, with a 15 minute walk from the car park at the end but it can be quite a special journey.

Mt Matavanu was an active volcano from 1905 to 1911 and sent lava flowing 13 kilometres to the north east, destroying everything in its path.

It is operated as an attraction by an eccentric local by the name of Seu Utumapu but better know as 'The Craterman' who's put up the carved signs along the path to the top and who will also carve your name as well on request - for a small charge.

Samoa - South Pacific (1080 HD)

Here is a tour of Samoa Islands: Upolu and Savaii. This small country located in South Pacific was a big surprise! It was not crowded of tourists particulary during the wet season where the weather is still very good. Samoa's nature has a lot to offer (from green to deep blue) and the people are super nice.

Finaly after swiming with wild dolphins, encountered a lot of seals in New Zealand, we finaly met a few sea turtles while snorkeling in Savaii island.

Enjoy the tour ;)

Alofa'aga (Taga) Blowholes, Samoa (1080HD)

For more great information, photos and video about Samoa, see PleaseTakeMeTo's Samoa Travel Guide -

You'll find these remarkable blowholes, reputed to be the second most powerful on the planet, about an hours drive from Salelologa on the south coast of Savaii about a 10 minute drive off the main road to the west of the wharf.

The blow holes are actually a series of tubes run from the ocean to a flat volcanic cliff top. Waves breaking against the lower end of the tubes send water at high pressure up through the tubes, creating fountains that can be quite spectacular, especially in a big swell and with little or no wind.

The entrance to the blowholes is in the village of Taga and locals will charge a small admission fee. Be warned, though, the blow holes are unfenced and the wet rock can be quite slippery. Getting too close can be very dangerous.

Virgin Cove, Samoa (1080 HD)

For more great information, photos and video about Samoa, see PleaseTakeMeTo's Samoa Travel Guide -

If you were to imagine the picture perfect south pacific island location, Virgin Cove would be pretty much it.

While it's not far from Sa'Moana resort about 45 minutes from Apia or an hour from the airport, it's a quiet, sheltered cove, hidden away from the rest of the world. The calm waters are great for swimming and snorkelling.

There are some quite new Beach fales, most with with ceiling fans but a couple with air conditioning and there's a good restaurant and bar.

Virgin Cove is an idyllic and very popular spot for couples and honeymooners.
