Breakfast 1 (青島豆漿店): - We’re starting with the classic Taiwanese breakfast of soy milk and baked pasties, both savory and sweet.

Danzai Noodles (羅家擔仔麵): - Danzai noodles have a unique story, and it’s a fantastic noodle dish to try.

TAIPEI, TAIWAN - Taiwan is extremely famous for their night market street food culture, and so tonight we’re eating our way through Nanjichang Night Market (南機場夜市) - a lesser known, yet extremely popular local night market. If you want an off the beaten path, guaranteed delicious Taiwanese food experience, this is a great Taipei night market to visit.
One of the greatest things about Nanjichang Night Market (南機場夜市) is that it’s not only a night market, but it’s open throughout the day and you’ll find different food available depending on the time of the day. Additionally, about 3 or 4 different stalls at this market have been featured in the Michelin Guide Taiwan.

Raohe Night Market is one of the oldest night markets in Taipei, featuring TRADITIONAL Taiwanese street food. In this video we are touring Taiwan seafood street food scene from fried shrimp to thick seafood soup! Taipei streed food we tried include:
-Taiwanese oyster omelette, a delicious mixture of egg, cabbage, oyster, and sweet sauce!
-Fried shrimp, squid, and crab combo!
-Taiwanese seafood shell, made with ALL seafood.
-Taiwanese-style clams with garlic and wine. While the stall we tried was OK, there are MANY places in Taipei with delicious clams. Get it stir-fried with basil - that's the best!
-Grilled BBQ squid

On this week’s Taiwan Travel Vlog, we enjoy some of the best Taiwanese seafood at the popular Addiction Aquatic Development (上引水產) located right beside the Taipei Fish Market (臺北魚市).
Definitely one of our top things to do in Taipei City, this popular spot is the Taiwanese version of the Tsukiji Fish Market, serving the best and freshest seafood in Taipei. You can find everything from freshly sliced Taiwanese sushi and sashimi to grilled seafood and so much more.
Next we visit the beautiful Taipei Fine Arts Museum to check out its latest exhibit featuring Taiwanese art from the 1980s, and then cross over to Mai Square for a weekend Farmer’s Market and some shopping.

Addiction Aquatic Development (上引水產), a gourmet marketplace in the Zhongshan District, is a seafood lover’s paradise: From hot pot to sushi to fish grilled or fried, the independently owned stalls of AAD offer seafood cooked with almost every method imaginable.
AAD feels like the cooler cousin of popular indoor markets like Nanmen, where locals go to purchase produce, pick up seafood, or get meat butchered to order. Inside is spacious but warm, with wood paneling and brown tones accenting everything from the countertops to the beams criss-crossing the tin roofing; pastels on chalkboards describe the day’s specials. Outside, the outdoor eating areas’ greenery and the Edison bulb-filled candelabra centerpieces borrow heavily from hipster beer gardens elsewhere in the world. But with a large food emporium, a standing sushi bar, and a seasonal hot pot restaurant, AAD is unquestionably influenced by the sensibilities of the Taiwanese.
The cash-only AAD can get crowded, particularly on the weekends, and with its first-come, first-served policy for all but two of the eateries, it would be easy to make a beeline for the most popular stalls and bypass some of the market’s lesser-known offerings. With this walk-through, you won’t miss a mouthwatering thing.
Mala Hot Pot - Most Popular Eat-All-You-Can Hot Pot In Taipei Taiwan | Food Tour
Mala Hot Pot is an eat-all-you-can hot pot restaurant chain in Taipei Taiwan. It is very famous from the locals and tourists alike that you have to have to reserve in advance to have an available seat. The restaurant is open for lunch at 11:30am to 4:00pm and 4:00pm to 4:00am for dinner. The eat-all-you-can hot pot only allows you 2 hours per seating and rates are NTD545 for lunch and NTD635 for dinner. Children 12 years old and below are given 50% off. You will have the option to choose two(2) soup bases and then you can have all the meats, seafood, cold cuts, and vegetables you want. Most of the hot pot items you can get from the trays, but, premium cuts of meats are ordered from the waiters.

Fresh, juicy and sweet sashimi at Addiction Aquatic Development in Taipei! We ordered Geoduck, Chutoro (tuna) and Ama ebi (sweet prawn), which was all succulent pieces of meat. So good!

Join us at the AYCE Hot Pot in Taipei where we indulge in a glorious celebration of life!
