Suddenly my hotel Ditched me in the Coldest inhabited place in the World and I was Stuck alone on the Kolyma Highway also known as infamous Road of Bone in Siberia at Freezing -55°C. Then I started Hitchhiking and almost got Deadly Frost Bite.

EXTREME KONMARI METHOD DECLUTTERING | Before & After
I never thought cleaning my room would change my life, but here I am a new person all thanks to a few days of extreme bedroom decluttering inspired by Tidying Up with Marie Kondo and her KonMari Method. Lou and I spent a few days organizing, cleaning and decluttering my childhood bedroom from clothes and closets to books and boxes of sentimental items. I can truly attest to the life-changing magic of the KonMari Method. We purged my closet of over a decade worth of clutter and were able to minimize my possessions to just those that spark joy. A friend of mine joked that we are the only people who live in a van that are also secret hoarders, but after finishing this cleaning process I can proudly say that is no longer true! This process helped us to reach the minimal lifestyle that we aspire to embody and I truly feel a million pounds lighter knowing that I actually have a bedroom and not a storage unit waiting for me at my parents' house. 4 Times Huge Airplanes Landed On Water Successfully
There’s no such thing as a safe emergency airplane landing, especially if it has to land on water. But some gifted pilots can do wonders with their metal-winged birds, even if those birds are huge airliners with lots of people on board! Here, I’ll tell you about 4 times airplanes landed on the water without any major injuries to the passengers.
Landing a plane on water has its own special term now. It’s called ditching, and this task is one of the hardest for pilots. Period. Mainly because it’s almost impossible to train pilots to deal with this situation. Especially if we’re talking about 1956, when there were no training simulations available.

SUMMARY
- Boeing 377 Stratocruiser, a huge liner with 4 engines – one of the first airplanes with a pressurized cabin and double-deck feature! With this double-deck, it could take up to 100 passengers on board. But on this day, October 16, 1956, there were only 24 passengers and 7 members of the aircrew on the plane.
- The Pan Am Flight 6 was supposed to be an around-the-world flight with several stops along the way. This was its last take-off from Honolulu before arriving at the destination point in San Francisco. Unfortunately, at the half-way point, when the plane was climbing in altitude, one of the Boeing’s engines violated its speed limit and stopped. Slowly but surely, the plane started to get closer to the sea, unable to keep the altitude. It didn’t help that another engine, engine number 4, also started to malfunction. But still, pilots managed to distribute the workload to the three remaining engines and keep an altitude of 5,000 ft.
- In the summer of 1963. The Tupolev Tu-124 airplane with 52 people on board was circling around in the skies above Saint Petersburg, Russia, trying to find a way to ditch on the Neva River.
Problems with this flight began immediately after the plane took off in Tallinn. The front gear of the plane wasn’t able to retract, but the Tupolev couldn’t turn back to Tallinn – the weather was too foggy for that. As the flight was supposed to end in Moscow, the closest place to land safely along the way was in Saint Petersburg.
- And, the record holder for the number of people on board a ditching plane – Airbus A320 of US Airways, Flight 1549. Also known as the “Miracle of the Hudson” Flight. It happened 10 years ago, on January 15.
The cause of this would-be catastrophic event was nothing more than a flock of geese which struck the engines. But thanks to the mastery of the Airbus’ pilots, and ingenuity of its construction, the 155 people on board remained uninjured.

If you've ever felt embarrassed about your family, if you've ever felt that your family is weird and you've wondered why they couldn't just be normal, never fear! In this video, we're going to show you 10 families that will make yours seem normal no matter how weird they are.
1. The Ulas Family.
Kurdish couple, Resit and Hatice have 18 children! This alone may seem pretty weird, but it doesn't stop here. 5 of their children can't walk on two legs and have to walk on all fours. According to the biologist Uner Tan, this condition is due to something he calls Backward Evolution. According to Geneticist Stefan Mundlos, it is because the 5 children lack the gene responsible for Bipedalism.
2. The Bunker Family
Chang and Eng Bunker were born in Thailand in 1811 and are known as the Original Siamese twins. In 1829 they were brought to America to tour as part of a freak show, after three years, they ditched their managers and went on tour alone. In 1839 the twins settled in Mount Airy, North Carolina, where they married two sisters and fathered 21 children.
3. The Brett's
Alexis is a Scottish mother who was the first in the UK to have 10 boys in a row. Campbell who's 17, Harrison, 16, Corey, 14, Lachlan, 11, Brodie, 9, Brahn, 8, Hunter, 6, Mack, 5, Blake, 3, and Rothagaidh who's 2. If having 10 boys in a row wasn't strange enough, Alexis just gave birth to child number 11! and this time, weirdly, its a girl!
4. Lia and Aro
Glen Layton discovered he was adopted when he was a teenager and that he originated from the same area in Romania as Vlad the Impaler. After discovering this he changed his name to Aro Draven. He met Lia Benninghoff online and the goth couple connected. After a 3 week romance, the couple got married and Aro converted her into a Vampire during a strange blood sharing ceremony. The couple drink each other's blood up to 4 times a week and claim to have cravings and feel weak if they don't.
5. The Russell's
Terelynn Russell lives in Morris, Illinois with her husband and 4 children. She has one boy and three girls, up to here, pretty normal, right? well Terelynn loves long hair and hers is 2 meters long! and she only cuts off 50 cm 'at most', to donate to Locks of love. She wins awards at local fairs for Longest Ponytail and her daughters are following her example, all three girls having hair reaching well below their waists.
6. The Kulkarni's
The Kulkarni family is India's tallest family. In 1989 Sharad Kulkarni who is over 7ft or 2.15 meters tall, married Sanjot who is over 6ft 2 inches or 1.85 meters tall, to become Indias tallest couple. They now have two daughters, Sanya, who's 6ft 4 inches or 1.93 meters, and Mruga, who's 6ft 1 inch or 1.85 meters. Together there combined height is about 26ft in imperial measurement or 8 meters in metric or 3.5 Shaqs in NBA.
7. Brittany and Abby Hensel.
These Siamese twins were born in 1990 and are joint at the abdomen, each twin controlling an arm and a leg. With no possibility of surgical separation, the twins have not only learned to live with each other but they have thrived! They finished high school, got their driver's license, and got University degrees in Mathematics and English from Bethel University. They now teach English and math to fifth graders and have even learned to play the piano.
8. The Deave's
John Deaves left his family when his daughter Jenny was 1 year old. His daughter grew up, got married and had two children, and later got divorced.
When Jenny was 31, she met her father again, and a few weeks later, the couple started a sexual relationship, in a case which Psychologists call Genetic Sexual Attraction.
9. Ziona Family.
Ziona is the leader of a Christian sect called Chana Pawl which was founded by his father in 1945. The sect practices Polygamy which means a man can have several wives and 'Ziona' is a devout follower. He has 39 wives, 94 children, 14 daughters in law and 33 grandchildren! he holds the Guinness world record for The World's Largest Existing Family. The family all live together in a 4 storied mansion and they are entirely self-reliant.
10. The Bannon's
Linda Bannon was born with a rare disorder called Holt-Oram syndrome, which causes abnormalities in the upper limbs and the heart. She was treated the same as her brothers and sisters who didn't have the condition and had to learn how to do things with her feet instead of her hands. In 2004 she got married to Richard and soon after became pregnant. In 2005 she gave birth to her son Timmy who unfortunately had the same condition. Timmy had to receive open-heart surgery when he was 8 years old but the operation was a success, and Timmy is now a very athletic boy, who even plays on the school football team as a kicker. Despite all their problems, their positive attitude has allowed them to prevail.

For our 5 year wedding anniversary we ditched RV Living and did something normal for once! Our anniversary was a couple of months ago, but we were in the middle of nowhere at that time, so we made a rain check. With RV living, it can be a little more difficult to celebrate holidays and specials occasions. Even planning surprises are a lot more challenging, as we are together 24/7. SOLO TRAVEL WITH TODDLER: Ditching the plans in Lisbon
It's been a long time since I've been this happy. It's been a long time since I've been this confident, this capable. I take my daughter out for a day of sightseeing in Lisbon. We ditch the plans and wander the city, eating the most amazing chicken of our lives, playing in beautiful parks, basking at the sparkling river. I've fought hard for this, and it is bliss.

Follow me along on my first couple of days on CAMINO PRIMITIVO. After walking on the Norte for 10 days from Santander I decided to switch for what supposed to be the most scenic and one of the most challenging caminos - the Primitivo.
