Serbia 4k | Where Are You Now? | Drone Travel Video

I've been to Serbia twice now and I really enjoyed it! Belgrade's floating river clubs can give any city in the world a run for its money in terms of nightlife. Food and drinks are incredibly cheap in Serbia and you can actually afford eating in fancy restaurants. Skadrlija is an awesome bohemian street that is filled with musicians and great food. People in Serbia were super friendly all around - in cities and small villages. One day I came to a tailor asking them in English if they could fix something small, the tailor said okay and after he fixed it, he refused any kind of payment. In US I would've surely been ripped off regardless if I was a local or tourist. The nature in rural areas of Serbia were absolutely breathtaking. Tara national park and Uvac reserve were incredible. The best part? There are barely any tourists. You are not lost in masses, people aren't trying to sell you stuff and offer taxis on every corner. You can get an authentic experience. Unforfortunately, I only filmed very few parts of my trip. If you want to see extra drone and gopro footage that didn't make it to the video, check out my Instagram IGTV @justvilius.

SERBIA WILL SURPRISE YOU! Belgrade First Impressions | Serbia Travel Vlog

Don't miss this vlog - Belgrade will definitely surprise you! This is not the Serbia you expect | Grab a 2 month free trial of Skillshare Premium, only 500 available here —

Serbia... wow! Didn't expect we'd be in Belgrade making travel vlogs if you asked us a few years ago, but here we are, and we LOVE Belgrade! This place is an amazing, and very underrated, travel destination - let us show you why.

In this vlog we sort of cover both our initial impressions of Belgrade, how we feel about Serbia, our surprises and then at the end wrap it up after we've stayed for 2 weeks in Serbia. Theres lots of things to do in Belgrade - we visit the Fortress, explore a cute park, find an amazing restaurant scene, scope out the nightlife spots, eat some local(ish) food, check out the shopping scene and try some local craft beer.

First impressions last, or so they say, and it's true for Belgrade. How we felt on the first day is exactly how things stayed a few weeks later - it's amazing! We also took a road trip to Novi Sad for the day with friends, another popular spot in Serbia, but we weren't filming that day sorry.

Moral of the story - consider places like Serbia, cities like Belgrade, locations that the masses don't always chat about and share online. These are the cities and experiences we love, places like Belgrade are why we travel - hidden gems that we get to experience, travel, vlog and share with you... thanks us later.

MY VISIT TO SERBIA BELGRADE - OLD TOWN, FORTRESS, MOSCOW HOTEL, SKADARLIJA, THREE HATS [HD]

Belgrade walking, Serbia - old town, fortress, Moscow hotel, Skaderlija, Three Hats restaurant - hd video.
More videos:

1. Stari Grad Belgrade
2. Famous Moskva Hotel
3. Belgrade Fortress (built in 279 BCE)
4. Skadarlija
5. “Three Hats” restaurant

1️⃣ Belgrade is the capital and largest city of Serbia.
It is located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers and the crossroads of the Pannonian Plain and the Balkan Peninsula.

The urban area of Belgrade has a population of 1.23 million, while nearly 1.7 million people live within the administrative limits of the City of Belgrade (which encompasses almost all of its metropolitan area), a quarter of the total population of Serbia

Stari Grad is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. It encompasses some of the oldest sections of urban Belgrade, thus the name (‘’stari grad’’, Serbian for “old city”). Stari Grad is one of the three municipalities that occupy the very center of Belgrade, together with Savski Venac and Vračar.

2️⃣ Moskva Hotel is a landmark of Belgrade, one of the most important architectural gems of the Serbian capital, built in the style of the Russian secession which has been under state protection since the second half of the previous century. It was inaugurated by King Petar I Karadjordjević himself in 1908.

During its over a century long history, this historic hotel has hosted over 45 million people including some famous names such as: Albert Einstein, Ana Pavlova, Leonid Brezhnev, Indira Gandhi, Ray Charles, Robert De Niro, Brad Pitt, Bernardo Bertolucci, Maksim Gorky and many others.

3️⃣ Belgrade Fortress (built in 279 BCE)
This ancient fortress sits atop a clifflike ridge overlooking the river & offers lush park areas.

Consists of the old citadel (Upper and Lower Town) and Kalemegdan Park (Large and Little Kalemegdan).

Belgrade Fortress is located on top of the 125.5 meter high ending ridge of the Šumadija geological bar. The cliff-like ridge overlooks the Great War Island (Serbian: Veliko ratno ostrvo) and the confluence of the Sava river into the Danube, and makes one of the most beautiful natural lookouts in Belgrade.

4️⃣ Skadarlija is a vintage street, an urban neighborhood and former municipality of Belgrade. It is located in the Belgrade municipality of Stari Grad (Old Town). Skadarlija partially preserved the ambience of the traditional urban architecture, including its archaic urban organization, and is known as the main bohemian quarter of Belgrade, similar to Paris' Montmartre.

After Kalemegdan, Skadarlija is the second most visited tourist attraction in Belgrade, contributing to one third of the city's foreign currency income.

Skadarlija is located less than 300 metres (330 yd) north-west of Terazije, central Belgrade. It begins right below the Republic Square and stretches along the short, winding Skadarska Street and the surroundings streets of Zetska and Cetinjska.

6️⃣ “Three Hats” is a true pearl among the restaurants of Skadarlija. It was built in the heart of Skadarska street and remains in a recognizable ambience for more than 150 years.

It was opened in 1864 in a building where a craft workshop which had three pleated hats as a logo was previously located. That’s how the restaurant got its name.

The restaurant is known for its service and quality even outside the borders of our country.

It had the honor to host some of the most eminent domestic and international figures: King Juan Carlos, George Bush, Pertini, Willie Brant, and others. Many testimonies of the pleasant stay in the restaurant are stored in the guestbook. “Tri šešira” – a wealth of tradition, art and bohemian life. Tin Ujević, Branislav Nušić, Gustav Krklec, Čiča Ilija Stanojević, Raka Drainac enjoyed their days here, and the most famous inhabitant of Skadarska street – Đura Jakšić, often used to call it “wine spring”.
