SAVED FROM A SCAMMER in India (Beggar Scam Exposed)

Beggars in India will approach you all day long with a scam where they ask you to buy them expensive food items from a nearby supermarket. Find out exactly what they do with these items you give them and how you can really help people who really need charity in India.

Shot in Mumbai, this auntie and her entire family work the streets every day running this scam. During the scam, an Indian Nun came up to me to help me and stop me being scammed! She was terrific and demonstrates the lengths Indians will go to to help foreign guests in their country. This Nun actually knew the family and told me this women's daughters are being educated by her at a Christian missionary charity called Prem Dan.

Avoid this horse ride SCAM in Karachi, Pakistan ????????

This was easily my worst experience in Karachi. Actually, other than getting awful food poisoning, it was my only bad experience in the city. 99% of people in Karachi are kind hearted but if you stay in any city long enough, eventually you're bound to run into some bad guys.

I had visited Karachi's Clifton Beach previously and had a wonderful time there. I met friendly locals, had enjoyable camel and dune buggy rides, ate some tasty biryani and fried fish. Nobody tried to take advantage of me the whole time I was there.

I enjoyed that beach experience so much that I booked a hotel right next to it. I was planning on enjoying many more happy days at the beach.

After checking in to the hotel I went straight to the beach. The area of the beach I was staying next to was called 'Sea View Beach' by the locals but it's just another area of Clifton Beach.

It was very quiet, with it being a Friday. As soon as I entered the beach, two guys on horses sprinted towards me. I had planned on take a horse or camel ride at some point so I negotiated a price of 200 rupees with one of them for a ride to the Chunky Monkey amusement park.

He didn't take me to Chunky Monkey, though. He took me down to the water and then handed me off to another guy on a horse.

I felt like I was getting scammed in some way. Maybe they were going to ask for double the money because the second guy was taking me for a second ride or something. He was taking me towards Chunky Monkey, which is where I wanted to go though.

As I rode with this guy, I tried to reconfirm the price with him, so there would be no disputes afterwards. He made it clear that 200 was for, what he called 'one ride', and that I'd have to pay for multiple rides. I immediately asked him to stop and said I'd walk the remaining distance but he refused to stop.

Not only would he not let me get off the horse but did a u-turn and took me back to where I started the ride. I was screaming at him telling him that was not the way I wanted to go but he made the excuse that if he takes the horse back himself without a rider that the two horses would fight.

After finally getting off the horse the two scammers asked me for 5,000. As if I was just going to give them 25 times the price that we had agreed. How stupid did they think I was.

I tried to give him 1,000 rupees, which is what I would have given him anyway as a tip, just like I did with the camel and dune buggy guys in my previous Clifton Beach video. He wouldn't accept it but I slipped it in his pocket and walked away.

They kept arguing with me and tried to stop me leaving but I was determined not to give them even 1 rupee more.

I thought I had gotten rid of them and decided to take a camel ride to Chunky Monkey but the horse guys seen me from quite a distance and sprinted over to me. They were either side of the camel harassing me non stop. The camel boy refused to let me down off the camel so I was trapped there, sandwiched between the two scammers.

There were very few people on the beach so it was scary to think what might happen. Who knows what these guys were capable off if there were no witnesses around.

Fortunately a local guy that I called out to for help came over and tried to talk to the scammers. While he talked to them the camel boy got the camel to lie down so I could get off.

I explained the situation to the friendly local, while the two scammers were arguing with him that I owe them 5,000. I just decided to walk away. There was no scenario where I would willing hand over another rupee to those scammers so there was no point in me staying there.

Fortunately I got away from the beach but I was constantly looking over my shoulder the whole time. And despite staying in a hotel next to the beach I never visited that beach again. I was worried I'd run into those same guys again and what might happen if there was nobody else around.

Lying Blind Scammer in India (How to Avoid Sympathy Scams!)

I didn't expect to be scammed in Northeast India by a man pretending to be BLIND. I was busy filming the Ema Market shopping tour video in Imphal, Manipur when this guy approached me asking me to film his sad story about being blind and needing money to purchase all the medications the doctor had prescribed him. He even had the prescription to show me the costs!

As soon as someone starts asking you for money or bringing money into a conversation in India, you know it's a scam. Especially when they AREN'T blind and they have this fake prescription all prepared to show you.

They target Westerners and our sympathy. It's called sympathy scamming when they start telling you a big sad story to gain your sympathy and scam money from you while you travel around India as a tourist. It's very common in India.

AVOID These Scams In Istanbul ????????

With peak travel season coming to Istanbul and Turkey, make sure you avoid these scams in Istanbul to keep you safe and protect your money. The lemon street vendor tried to cheat his way more than once into fooling me into buying more items than I originally wanted. Showing he only has big bills and no small change is an easy way street scammers in Istanbul try to cheat you into buying more items than you originally want. Also big hotels such as this Crown plaza IHG are doing false advertisement. Hotels should inform their guest that certain facilities are not working before booking. Most big chain hotels I checked in Turkey warn you on their website that their Hamman and gym is closed which is why I didn't stay with them and chose this hotel which I thought had everything up and running but apparently not. This is false advertisement at its finest and management didn't even care at all when I talked to them about the issue. Istanbul is a great place to visit, rich in food and culture however, keep your eyes open and stay alert to avoid silly scams in Istanbul.

DO NOT GIVE HIM MONEY! ????????

Avoiding scammers, touts and hustlers is a big part of travelling in a touristic part of India. In Jaipur this is as true as anywhere in India.

After exploring the forts I tried to walk away from the tourist spot to visit the local side of Amer, hoping to see a more authentic side of the city away from scams and hassle. After making my way through annoying rickshaws, vendors trying to sell me cheap junk and a guy who tried to massively overcharge me on some snacks, I found myself in a local neighbourhood being guided by the local kids.

All was well until some big guy turned up and started demanding money from me. The kids had warned me about him so I was determined not give him any money. You can watch for yourself to see how that turned out.

AVOID Kurt Caz in Cuba!????????

I need to share something that has been haunting me since my recent trip to Cuba. I came across a crazy situation involving the YouTuber, Kurt Caz, and I feel that I must speak up about it. Please bear with me as I'm sharing with you the truth...

Just a couple of months ago, Kurt began posting Cuban videos on Fb,Youtube, tiktok etc that went viral, receiving thousands of shares and views. These videos had a crazy impact on the Cuban people, leaving them shocked and deeply affected.

I'm sad to say this, but so many people in Cuba hate him now. People have been probably imprisoned, and they will likely remain behind bars for years, all because he chose to expose them for his own gain $$.

Even a police officer confessed to me that many of the individuals he exposed are no longer free!!! (I hope it's not true)

During my two-week stay in Cuba, I heard the pain and anger firsthand from locals who couldn't even express their true feelings on my camera. They feared how their words might be edited and worried that it could be perceived as hatred towards the government, risking their own freedom.

Every day wherever I was going, because I was also filming, I listened to their stories, witnessing their hate towards Kurt. .

And really makes no freaking sense!!

Guys you need to understand that Cuba is a unique country!!!!

Why would someone expose these Cuban people who struggle to survive on meager wages?

As YouTubers, we often expose scammers, and I don't support scams or illegal activities. I will personally do the same thing if someone scams me in another country!!

But exposing a scammer in India or Brazil is different from exposing illegal activities in Cuba. In India, the scammer may be upset about being exposed, but the government or police won't take drastic action against them. In Colombia too, filming prostitutes is permissible as it is legal there.

But in Cuba?????
These people are immediately sent to jail for yeaaaars!!

How can a Kurt Caz sleep well at night knowing that he filmed someone for a minute, made thousands of dollars from it, and that poor illegal person will end up spending many years behind bars?

These girls make a mere $10 a month, while he makes thousands from his videos, essentially sealing their fate in prison for years to come. And he even f**cking approached them!!
They didn't bother him!! They didn't harass him.He knew exactly what he was doing and he even said it on his video!!!

Unless you hate humanity…You simply can’t do that!!!

In Cuba, I got scammed within the first hour ($30 for a mojito). I filmed the whole experience and it could easily go viral! Just walking around Havana for 15 minutes, you'll find many scammers, prostitutes, currency exchangers, and illegal cigar sellers. They're everywhere! They come to you; you don't have to seek them out.

But remember, this is Cuba, not the USA or Brazil. In Cuba, anyone who takes advantage of a tourist faces crazy consequences. So, what am I supposed to do?

Expose them??

It's heartbreaking to know that these people are barely making $12 a month, while a simple meal costs $20! They engage in illegal activities simply to survive and put food on the table. They'll never become wealthy.

I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing that I made thousands of a poor Cuban scammer..and on the top of that!! I send him to PRISON for Years!! That’s f insane!!

Some people are simply evil. I don't claim to be an angel or perfect, but certain actions are universally condemned unless one harbors hatred towards humanity.

Unfortunately, I had the misfortune of meeting Kurt in person, and I can assure you that he fully hates anyone who doesn't worship him, especially women.

Please understand that I'm not driven by envy or animosity, regardless of his 2 million followers or wealth. It pains me deeply that I once cared for him, supported him, and loved him. He is aware of the impact I’ve had on his life.

I really hope that karma intervenes.

I feel disgusted knowing how Kurt deliberately shared these videos across various platforms: YouTube, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook, and even Facebook Reels.

And finally, I want you to know that I really didn't want to post this video. I have my own reasons for not liking Kurt, and I never planned to make a video targeting him. I really hate drama or starting fights on YouTube. All I wanted was to focus on my work and keep making videos.

But when I saw what happened and how Kurt's videos affected the people of Cuba, hearing their stories and seeing their fear of speaking up... It really upset me. And then seeing Kurt share those videos everywhere and the possibility of other YouTubers following suit just for more views... It put me in a tough spot.

Even though it goes against what I wanted, I have a responsibility as a man and as a creator to tell the truth. I have to speak up, even if it means facing the anger from his fans or you guys!

Pickpocketing Epidemic of 2023 in Rome Italy- My Best Video Yet!

Please share this video to help get the word out about the growing problem of pickpocketing in Rome. Over 1000 wallets, purses and suitcases are being stolen in Rome on a busy day and not much is being dome to stop it. Learn about our story and how you can be protected from this happening to you the next time you are in Rome. Rome is an incredible city but you need to know before you go.
Replacing passport took about 3 hours and cost 120 euro. US Embassy is open Monday through Friday starting at 8:30am. Get there early the line builds fast. A few additional tips. If driving a car do not leave bags or anything in the car or you may find your windows smashed and what was in the car gone. Also when eating it is a good idea to put you foot through your bag or pack handles when placing on the ground so nobody can grab it. Also if you foot is in the handle you will not forget it under the table. Do not put your bag on an empty chair when in high traffic tourist areas or someone may grab it and run. Stay safe and please share my video.
Also online I read that the first step is to report the crime to the police. I found this not possible. The police would not file a report unless I had a passport which made no sense to me since my passport was stollen. Well the good news is the US embassy is well staffed to help you and they process lots of stolen passports everyday.

Bangkok Scam Caught on Camera | How to avoid the Tuk Tuk & Lucky/Big Buddha Scam in Thailand 2020

Ever seen a scam caught on camera? I want to show you how you can avoid being scammed in Bangkok and generally how you can avoid being ripped-off in Asia as a whole by taking note of some of these notions.

Let me say Thailand is an INCREDIBLE place and the people are amazing, but in Bangkok there a small selection of people who are intent on ripping you off or conning you for that money you saved for your trip. I wanted to share this so you'll be aware of how to deal with the typical scam in Bangkok which occurred at the end of 2019 / early 2020.

We nearly fell for it on the first day and we stayed near the Grand Palace where this was rife (had we seen a video like this we might have avoided it and been more aware of what was happening).

If anyone mentions Lucky Buddha/Big Buddha, Gems Stores, Special Government Day you should take it with a pinch of salt or walk away.

Safe travels.

Scammy Guide takes me Hiking in Kerala ????????

As soon as I arrived in Kerala I was reminded of Sri Lanka's central highlands. Rolling green hills and tea trees growing everywhere. One of my favourite things to do in Sri Lanka was trekking so that's what I most looked forward to doing near Munnar, one of Kerala's most scenic towns.

Unfortunately I was told that it was not possible to trek alone since it's all private land. You must pay for a guide who has permission to access the tea estates. I'm not a fan of taking tour guides, especially in India where I've yet to find an honest guide in any part of the country but I had little choice if I wanted to get out and explore those beautiful green hills I could see from my hotel room balcony.

I paid 1,250 rupees for 4-5 hours trekking, the first half hour of which was spent walking along a main road. I was puzzled as to why we hadn't just paid 50 rupees for an auto rickshaw to do that part of the journey.

An hour into the trek, the guide, who hadn't paid me much attention up until then, despite me being his only guest, suggested we go on a different trekking route that would take 4 hours. It sounded appealing until he asked for an extra 2,000 rupees for it. If I had gone on his detour we still would have likely finished the whole trek in less than a total of 5 hours, but I'd have had to pay an extra 150% surcharge on top of what I'd already paid at the office.

Obviously I rejected that and immediately lost the small amount of trust I had for him. But I was stuck with him. It's not as if I could just ditch him in the middle of nowhere like I would do if I was in a city and my guide started getting all scammy. I'd just say goodbye and that would be that.

Unfortunately the detour wasn't the end of his nonsense. He wanted to take a break every 20 - 30 minutes and at each break tried to convince me to go on another route that would take extra time (a lie) or try to get me to book him again tomorrow or ask me to give him some British currency, or even one of my t-shirts. Who asks someone to give him their clothes, I mean, seriously?

In the end, even with all the 10 - 15 minute breaks he took trying to string the trek out, the longer route he took me on (I think that was a lie and we were always going on that route) took just 3 hours and 40 minutes.

I knew what was coming at the end of the trek. He started telling me about how poor he is and how low his salary is, setting me up to feel sorry for him and tip him well. They all do this. Every one of them. It's as if all Indian guides follow the same guide textbook on how to scam as much as they can out of their guests any way they can with begging and trickery.

Sure, he makes a low amount of money, especially by western standards but how about instead of trying to scam and beg and ruin his guest's trips that he instead actually provides a good and honest service and earn a tip for that? I don't want the up-selling, the begging, the laziness and the outright deceit. That makes him deserving of no tip at all in my opinion as he's done less than actually provide the service I paid for to a minimum standard.

However I did still tip him. It just doesn't feel right to have a personal service lasting hours and not give him something. It did seriously cross my mind though.

So despite trekking in one of the most beautiful areas of India I ended the day feeling frustrated. I have good memories of trekking around Ella and along the rail tracks to Ohiya in Sri Lanka, that all cost me nothing and I enjoyed a lot more. Unfortunately the Munnar hiking experience couldn't live up to that.
