If you ask me where is a best lagoon in Maldives? I ll definitely mention – Taj Exotica Maldives!
As I mentioned in my previous post, all resorts are unique, different colors of water and lagoon in different atolls. When I first time visited Taj Exotica in 2017, I fell in a love with a wide turquoise lagoon. I said: Wow, it’s incredible!
This is my 3rd visit to Taj Exotica and finally I’ve stayed in 2Bedroom Rehendi Presidential Suite which was too spacious for single lady like me. Lol.
2 Bedroom Rehendi Presidential Suite is a heart of Taj Exotica! It’s a most beautiful and luxury villa in the resort. Presidential Suite is certainly true to it’s name boasting a Presidential Gate which brings you to paradise! Villa is consisted of: huge living room, master bedroom with bathrooms, guest bedroom, 18 meter private pool with a private sundeck, two ‘salas’ for relaxing and dining; and a beautiful suspended deck filled with powder soft sand and a hammock suspended over the beautiful turquoise lagoon.
Resort is located in Male atoll and accessible just 15 min by speedboat ride.
I highly recommend Taj Exotica Resort and Spa Luxury!!!

5 Star LUXURY RESORT Full Day Tour in Maldives in $120 | Adaaran Prestige Vadoo Maldives || Vlog#2
This is the second video from my Maldives series and is based on my visit to one of the best resorts in Maldives – Adaaran Prestige Vadoo Resort in Maldives on 25th September, 2019. If you are planning to visit Maldives you may be getting tempted to book your stay in one of the beach resorts in Maldives which have a number of Water Villas. But what if I say, you can enjoy almost everything in almost 1/4th the price! Yes, there are a lot of resorts which offer you a day visit which includes unlimited alcoholic drinks, buffet lunch and transfers. And one such honeymoon resort in Maldives is Adaaran Prestige Vadoo.
As we were staying in Kaani Grand Sea View in Maafushi we planned to book our day visit to Vadoo Resort one night before. There are a lot of other resorts which you can plan to visit but after watching some of the videos of this resort we finally booked our day tour in it. We paid a total of $120 per adult.
It takes hardly 30 minutes to reach Adaaran Prestige Vadoo Resort from Maafushi Island. $120 per person is surely not cheap but if you compare it with the price you pay to stay there for one night, it is definitely worth the price. And I tell you what! Once you reach there, you would not regret it, I guarantee.
As soon reach the Resort they will tie a band on your wrist to recognize that you are a day visitor. The resort is beautifully landscaped and has a bar where you can have drinks of your choice from 9 am to 5 pm. The bar has a proper menu for Day Visitors in which they have all popular whiskey, vodka and beer brands and you can also get a lot of Cocktail options. For using free internet, you can collect your WiFi Passwords from the reception area which can be used till the evening.
There is also a swimming pool where you can enjoy and even take your drinks along with you. Buffet Lunch is served from 12:30 pm to 2 pm and you can enjoy the Fish Feeding at 5 pm. At 5:30 pm, you need to leave towards the Jetty to wait for your speedboat which will drop you back for Maafushi. The resort also has a Souvenir shop, where you can pay and buy any souvenir of your choice. Only one thing which I didn’t like about this Day Tour is that you are not allowed to visit anywhere near the water villa side, but then they are private water villas and people living there spend a lot for that.
There are some more popular resorts which offer Day Tours. Some of them are quite budget friendly as well.

our flight was from Ahmedabad to Mumbai to Maldives. Once we reached Maldives, visas were on arrival for Indians. As soon as you land at the airport you will see a crystal-clear blue ocean. It was mesmerizing. From the airport, we were taken to the seaplane airport by bus. We waited there in the lounge for some time. And then we boarded a seaplane. The experience was amazing.
Our first two-day stay was in the Beach villa. And the last 2 days were in the water villa. Both experiences are a must. The resort has 3 restaurants, one of which serves delicious Indian food. We loved it. We did water sports activities like Kayaking and snorkeling which were included in our package. Overall it was an amazing experience.
