This is the fool proof technique for rolling sleeping pads on ANY terrain.

The Klymit Static V Backpacking Sleeping pads are great for beginners, and I should know, it was the first sleeping pad I ever bought! I've been using the sleeping mat for three years, I quickly upgraded to the Klymit Static V Insulated so that I would be able to use it for winter camping and winter backpacking. These pads aren't perfect, but for a budget backpacking sleeping pad, and if you're just getting out there on your first trip, then I still they this line of sleeping pads could be great for you!

The Best Budget Sleeping Pad: the Rakaia designs Yekka vs the Klymit Static V
This is a side by side comparison of the new rakaia designs yekka dual chamber sleeping pad and the Klymit static V. Also includes is the beta version of the rakaia designs dual chamber pillow, and the Klymit x pillow.
Both pads were great, but if I had to pick, I'd skew towards the rakaia designs. The ability to inflate in case of a puncture was just really handy. Also, even though the valve was a little finicky, if I had to choose between the two pillows, I liked the fabric and stretch of the rakaia designs dual chamber pillow.

Review: Klymit Static V Sleeping Pad
This is a review of the first air pad I purchased when I started backpacking - the Klymit Static V air pad. At the time, it had good reviews and was affordable, traits I wanted in a beginner product. Since then I've purchased a handful of other air pads, but this one has sentimental value and still works well!

Weight: 1 lb, 2 oz
Dimensions: 72 in x 23 in x 2.5 in
R-Value = 1.3
Pack size: 8 in tall x 4 in diameter
Klymit Insulated Static V Sleeping Pad Review
The Klymit Insulated Static V sleeping pad is light, packable, comfortable and warm. It's 23 wide x 72 long x 2.5 thick (58.42cm x 182.88cm x 6.35cm) and has an R-Value of 4.4. When packed in it's 5 x 8 and weighs 25 oz (709 g). Even though it's insulated, we find it isn't too hot for use on warm nights.

Nemo Tensor VS. Klymit Static V sleep pad
I have both the Nemo Tensor and the Klymit Static V sleeping pad and wanted to show a comparison of the two. Both have been good sleeping pads but I have to say I prefer the Nemo Tensor over the Klymit.
