ROAD TRIP MIDDLE EAST: Iran (Part 3 - Yazd, Isfahan)
Welcome back to the next part of my journey as I travel through Iran, filming my experience as a tourist, sharing with you the kindness of Iranian people. This time, I go from Shiraz to Yazd and then up north to the beautiful city of Isfahan. In this episode, we rent a car and drive to the magnificent historical ruins of Persepolis. I sleep in a little ecolodge homestay called Nartitee in the mudbrick village of Taft. The next day, I explore Yazd, a former centre for Zoroastrianism, and meet a sweet local girl and her mother. The adventure continues as our road trip takes us up to Isfahan - a sophisticated cultured city with inspiring architecture and history. We stay in the home of a kind local couple and I speak with their son, Amir, who is a professor at a university in Isfahan.
I continue to see examples of the kindness of strangers, Persian hospitality and signs that this population truly wants peace and friendship with the rest of the world. I hope that in sharing this journey with you, I can give you some insight into their hearts and connect this troubled but beautiful country with humanity.

12 days in Iran | 2017
In September-October 2017 two Lithuanian friends went on an adventure: almost two weeks trip to Iran. We chose quite a usual itinerary and added some stops on the way: Tehran - Qom - Kashan - Isfahan - Yazd - Meybod - Chak-Chak - Kharanaq - desert around Yazd - Shiraz - Tehran. For 12 days it was quite intense and we were constantly on the move, but it was definitely worth it!
For every traveller out there - Iran is an amazing country with glorious history, beautiful mosques and insanely welcoming and kind locals.
I am happy to share some tips or advises (what to see, where to stay, what to do, etc.)!

ROAD TRIP MIDDLE EAST: Iran (Part 4 - Kashan, Tehran)

I did a trip to Iran and I made a video from the car.
I started out in Khorramabad and then to Isfahan and finished in Tehran.
It´s a long video but it is beautiful. Hope you enjoy it like I did.

VLOG Iran 2017
Hello la team ! Je suis très impatiente de vous partager ce Vlog, vous le savez, ce pays c'est MON coup de cœur ! Je m'excuse d'avance pour la qualité de certaines parties, mais je n'ai filmé qu'avec mon téléphone, en Iran on aime pas trop les journalistes, donc pour un premier voyage j'ai préféré ne pas me faire remarquer ! La prochaine fois, et j'espère qu'il y en aura une, je prends le matériel adapté !
Mon budget détaillé :
* Vol aller retour 150€ jusqu'à Téhéran au mois d'août + Vol interne A/R jusqu'à Ispahan 100$ par personne (que vous pouvez avoir moins cher en réservant a l'avance, nous l'avons prit sur place)
* Les hôtels sont assez cher comparé au coût de la vie iranienne mais c'est la seule chose qui vous coûtera sur place ! Comptez environ 70€ la nuit pour avoir un hôtel équivalent à un 2 voir 3* français. Of course il y a bien moins cher ! (Détail de mes hôtels un peu plus bas)
* Visa d'entrée 75€
* Nourriture : vous mangez facilement pour 3/5€ !
* Transport : les transports en commun valent quelques centimes, et les taxis 5€ pour une course en ville. Vous pouvez négocier avec un taxi pour une journée entière (ce qu'on a fait) on a visité 3 villes et fais des heures de route pour la modique somme de 60$ pour deux ..
* Sur place, pour les souvenirs tout est dans l'art de la négociation !
Total du séjour pour 1 semaine : 600€ par personne environ
