Riding a Minibus on My First Trip into Kingstown, Capital of St. Vincent & the Grenadines
I rode a minibus from the Villa Beach area of southern St. Vincent Island into Kingstown, the capital of the Caribbean nation of St. Vincent & the Grenadines. A friendly local man I sat next to in the van provided me some good information and walked me along Bay Street to the Magikleen dry cleaners and laundry service.

We love watching sleeping towns/cities wake up. We would arrive early, watch businesses open, eat, shop, and just watch how everyday living unfolds. This is the first time we’ve decided to film it. Taking a one dollar bus ride in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is the best way to get around the island. No need for public transportation when entrepreneurship works so efficiently and is part of the community.
