Exploring Southern Spain on BMW GS R 1250
It was absolutely amazing riding day. My guide Adrian, convert my day to a real motorcycle Nirvana. We visited Ronda and few more small and interesting towns and villages. I had more than enough twisty roads and I can highly recommend Toro Adventure to everyone.

2up Touring MONTENEGRO on our BMW R1200GS Adventure (plus we had a fall...)
In this episode, we are touring MONTENEGRO!
After crossing the border from Croatia to Montenegro, we headed straight for the Bay of Motor, a stunning landscape where land meets ocean. From there we ride up the windy Serpentine Road (where we unfortunately drop the bike thanks to a huge tour bus!) and over to Lovcen National Park, before heading back down to the ocean for a night out in the Budva Old Town! After relaxing a bit on Jaz Beach we continue south to drive the length of the huge Lake Skada all the way to Albania!

1250gs hard off-road. first time taking the gs where I shouldn't!
I've owned he GS1250 for 4 months and logged 4000 miles of casual riding. I'm getting more used to the beast and wanted to test it out on some more difficult terrain. I have also been trying to set up this local route for big ADV bikes to see these rutted, tore up jeep trails in vinton county by mostly going down these harder sections. This is just a little bit of how that day went.

Motorcycle Paradise in Andalusia
I was invited from Toro Adventure / Toro Trail to ride with them and share my experience in the channel. I went there without any expectation and I did not even check them online. I wanted to have my own opinion based on my personal experience. The owner of the company Lyndon met me at the Airport and we drove straight to the wonderful property they have. On the next two days I rode the new BMW GS r 1250 HP and on the third day I had a proper dirt bike Husqvarna FE 350. With few words I can say only positive things about the company. If you go to ride there and don't like it I will refund everything you paid, honestly! That convinced I am.

Ride height of the Factory Lowered suspension BMW R1250GS for for those of us with shorter legs.
This is a video to answer quite a few questions on the same topic I received from viewers all of the same approximate height and leg length as me. I try to show a visual demonstration of the ride height settings fitted to the factory lowered suspension version of the BMWR1250GS, 2021 model. I am wearing fairly flat shoes with a small sole height for ease of demonstration.
This is by no means a definitive guide and nothing beats going to a showroom and trying for yourself. Better still rent one as I did for a few days or borrow a very nice mates bike. Dont make the same mistake I did and got the standard height model and ended up falling off with my wife on the back just because I could not get at least one foot flat on the ground when stopped without leaning the bike over too far. I sold that at a loss to buy the lowered model. This is serious money you are spending so get the right one for you and I hope this was helpful to you. Thanks for watching.

From here you can see the highest mountain in Austria, which at 3,798 meters towers over the largest glacier in the Eastern Alps, the nine-kilometer-long Pasterze. The snow-covered Johannisberg completes the mountain panorama.
