The 22897 / 98 Kandari Express is a Superfast train belonging to Indian Railways South Eastern Railway zone that runs between Howrah Junction and Digha in India.
Kolaghat is a census town in Kolaghat CD Block of Tamluk subdivision in Purba Medinipur district in the state of West Bengal, India. Kolaghat Thermal Power Station is located here, which is the largest power sector in the state and managed by West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL), a department of the State Government of West Bengal.

রূপনারায়ণ নদী হল দ্বারকেশ্বর নদ ও শিলাই নদীর মিলিত প্রবাহ। দ্বারকেশ্বর নদ পুরুলিয়ার ছোটনাগপুর মালভূমি থেকে উৎপন্ন হয়ে বাঁকুড়া জেলার মধ্য দিয়ে প্রবাহিত হয়ে পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার ঘাটাল শহরের কাছে শিলাই নদীর সঙ্গে মিলিত হয়ে রূপনারায়ণ নদীর জন্ম হয়; এরপর কিছুপথ প্রবাহিত হয়ে তা পুরনো দামোদর নদ বা মুণ্ডেশ্বরী নদীর সঙ্গে মিলিত হয়। এই মিলিত স্রোত এরপর হুগলি নদীতে এসে পড়ে। নদীটির মোট দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৮০ কিলোমিটার।
