RAINBOW NOODLES, Seafood BREAKFAST & Most Beautiful NIGHT MARKET in Sukhothai Thailand
My second day in Thailand was another full packed fun food day. First thing in the morning, I went to give food to the monks and ate some quick breakfast at a local morning market. After that, I went to go bike around the Sukhothai park then went to make some Buddha amulets. For lunch, I ate some rainbow noodles and then for some sweet sugar noodles. To end my night, I went to the most beautiful night market in Thailand.

SPICY MEAT MOUNTAIN, Legendary Noodles & Thai Street Food in Bangkok Thailand Train Market
Headed back to Thailand for a full-on food tour! The first stop is Bangkok, where I visited a 130-year-old noodle shop/ice cream parlor that was the oldest in Bangkok. Then it's off for some desserts and a local train market for some soup and egg yoke ice cream. Finally, I headed down to the Rod Fai Train Market for a reunion with a SPICY Mountain of meat!

My last days in Thailand took me to a village ni Khon Kaen where I had a feast from all homegrown ingredients. Then it was a quick bite at a restaurant that serves massive spicy pork bones. Back in Bangkok, I had a full-on insect meal at Insects in the Backyard, finally ended the day with a trip to the extremely local Huamum Night Market.

Sukhothai, ‘Dawn Of Happiness’, this, the name of the first capital of Thailand, once marked the beginning of a new epoch. During the course of its one hundred and twenty year flowering period several of the city’s impressive buildings were created such as the magnificent Wat Mahathat Temple.Beyond the old city walls is the fascinating Wat Si Chum Temple which owes its national fame to the huge seated Buddha sculpture of Phra Atchana that is more than eleven metres high and is one of the largest and most imposing Buddha statues in Thailand. Picturesque yet almost sad the century old ruins seem to be reflected within the water of the nearby moats, canals and ponds yearning for a bygone time when the area was full of buildings that in turn were full of life. But despite its continuing decay Sukhothai is still a truly magical experience.

Thailand Reise #3, Sukhothai Doku mit Sehenswürdigkeiten in 4K Ultra HD. Besichtigt bei der Rundreise ist Geschichtspark Sukhothai. Diese alte Stadt wird von ihren Einheimischen auch Mueang Kao genannt. Früher umgaben Erdwälle und Wassergräben diese Stadt. Hier findet man die Überreste des königlichen Palastes und über 20 Tempel können hier besichtigt werden. Der größte davon ist der Wat Mahathat. Außerhalb des Geschichtsparks stehen weitere Tempel-Ruinen. Innerhalb wie außerhalb der alten Stadtmauern, sind annähernd 200 Tempelruinen zu sehen. Die ältesten stammen aus dem dreizehnten Jahrhundert. Das Gebiet um Sukhothai war ursprünglich eine Khmer-Siedlung, doch Mitte des dreizehnten Jahrhunderts eroberten aus dem Norden eingewanderte Thais das Gebiet und ließen sich hier nieder.
Viele der Bauten sind buddhistisch überarbeitete Khmer-Tempel.
Den historischen Park ernannte die UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe.
