Recently I encountered a surprise machine while I was out and about one day. The only problem was I didn't have any extra pennies or quarters in my pocket. Thankfully years ago I had started to keep an Emergency Pressed Penny Kit in my car at all times. I've filled it with supplies and most importantly extra quarters and copper pennies should I ever need them. I thought this may be of interested to other collectors and wanted to go over what I use for this kit and where you can create your own. Remember to always be prepared and Keep on Pressing!

Pressed Pennies on TV - Season 2
A few years ago I put together a compilation of various Television shows I had watched that had a special appearance by a pressed penny machine. For $3 each, L. Michelle and I got sets of pressed pennies! One machine kept shooting out the pennies!
Magic Kingdom | Pressed Pennies Converted to $1 - Part 2
Recently the remaining 3-design pressed penny machines at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom have been converted to the new price of $1 per penny. This was a slow change over but now all the machines in this park are done. There are no new designs, just the new price. But most of the machines received a thorough cleaning and maybe even some fresh pain. Magic Kingdom $1 Pressed Pennies
Have you heard the news? All the 4-design hand crank pressed penny machines located in Disney's Magic Kingdom disappeared a few weeks ago and have slowly been returning. Unfortunately most have returned with a new higher price tag of $1 per penny. The machine is also pre-loaded with shiny zinc pennies so you no longer need to have your own. Some of the machines also accept credit cards or ApplePay. In this weeks video I'll take you on a tour through the Magic Kingdom so you can see where these machines are and will note whether the designs have changed or not. Spoiler, most of the designs have not changed. So moving forward when visiting the Magic Kingdom make sure to load up on not just pennies and quarters, but now you will need plenty of dollar bills.
