This expert lecture, presented by railway historian and author Christian Wolmar, retells the incredible story of the Trans-Siberian Railway, a remarkable feat of engineering, stimulated by imperial ambition and also a key part of Russian and, indeed, wider European and Asian history. The construction of a railway line results in all kinds of changes, expected and unexpected. In Siberia's case, the results have been extremes of both positive and negative, and while mistakes were undoubtedly made, this should not take away from what is a magnificent achievement.

Rusia ha cancelado todos los vuelos con turquía hasta junio. Los turistas rusos no puede llegar a turquía y en consecuencia los hoteles tienen que cerrar ya que el 95% de turistas que recibe este país es de procedencia Rusa.
