Pakistan Village Woman Morning Routine in Winter | Traditional Village Food | Village Life Pakistan
This video shows the daily routine and culture of the people living in Punjab, Pakistan. It represent the village woman daily routine life in winter. Usually desert village women daily routine is to make butter from yogurt and Lassi Drink (remaining of yogurt after taking butter from yogurt by blending it). She cook breakfast in the morning. She also prepare their children for school. When children goes to school and husband go to office or at their work place, the women clean the home, washes dishes and cloth. She also prepare lunch for the children and husband in noon. She makes chapati in tandoor (mud oven). The children come to home in noon. The women present them food and care them. She also cook dinner in night.
Special Dish is Sangri go Sag Roti and butter paratha with desi or organic sugar in cholistan desert and Punjab villages, in this video a old desert women making butter from curd or yogurt by using hand driven wooden blender. Organic sugar that is also a form of jaggery , locally called shukker also makes delicious combination with fresh butter when you put on hot Paratha.
Their husband routine is grazing their animals. They sales cow's milk and cow to meet their basic necessities of daily routine. Men daily went outside of house with their animal for grazing and return back in evening. They also arrange wood for cooking from desert. Women cooking and take care of children's at home.

This video is based on our visit to Jodha Bai ka Maqbara(जोधा बाई का मकबरा) or Jodha Bai ki Samadhi. Jodha Bai was also known as Mariam uz Zamani and this place is called Mariam uz Zamani Tomb. Jodha Bai ki Kahani(जोधा बाई की कहानी) is also searched for on Youtube as she was married to popular Mughal Emperor Akbar and there are some famous Jodha Bai bhajan or Jodha Bai ka bhajan(जोधा बाई का भजन) related to their love story. Jodha Bai movie(जोधा बाई फिल्म) is quite popular in which Jodha Bai movie song(जोधा बाई सॉन्ग) was shot in Amer, Jaipur and Jodha Bai ka Mahal(Mariam uz Zamani Palace/जोधा बाई का महल) is located in Fatehpur Sikri. Some people ask Jodha bai kiski putri thi(जोधा बाई किसकी पुत्री थी/जोधा बाई किसकी बेटी थी) or Jodha bai kaun thi(Mariam uz zamani kon thi/जोधा बाई कौन थी), and Jodha bai kahan ki thi. I must tell you that Jodha Bai(जोधा बाई का इतिहास) was a resident of Amer and was daughter of Amer's king Bharmal and later she got married to the Mughal Emperor Akbar(Mariam uz zamani Jodha Akbar/जोधा बाई अकबर). A television serial was also made on Jodha Bai and Akbar (जोधा बाई का नाटक).
In this video's thumbnail, you will also see Jodha bai original photo(Mariam uz zamani real photo). Mariam uz zamani children's name was Hassan Mirza and Husaain Mirza but later they died and after some years she gave birth to Jahangir(Mariam uz Zamani son). There is not much evidence of Mariam uz zamani death(जोधा बाई की मृत्यु कैसे हुई/जोधा बाई की मौत कैसे हुई) in history. There are no details about Mariam uz zamani sisters in history or Mariam uz zamani Jodha bai.
Mariam-uz-Zamani's or Mariam's Tomb is known to be the mausoleum of Mariam-uz-Zamani, who is popularly known as Jodha bai, the favorite consort of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. The tomb was built by her son Nuruddin Mohammad Salim (known as Jahangir), in her memory between 1623-1627 and is situated in Sikandra, next to Akbar's Tomb, towards the direction of Mathura. She is known to be the only wife of Akbar who was buried near to him.
Mariam-uz-Zamani was actually born as a Rajput princess and was called Harkha Bai, and she was the eldest daughter of Raja Bharmal of Amer. She was married to Mughal Emperor Akbar in the year 1562 CE and was honored with the prestigious title of Mariam-uz-Zamani ('Mary/Compassionate of the Age') after she gave birth to her 3rd son, Nuruddin Mohammad Salim (Jahangir) in 1569 CE. She died on 19 May 1623 in Agra and was buried quite near to her husband Akbar. There is no concrete evidence that states the reason for Jodha Bai's death but it is believed to be due of sickness. Her son Jahangir made a tomb for her between the year 1623 and 1627 CE. The tomb is situated 1 km away from Akbar's tomb, and is known to be the only nearest of all the tombs of his all other wives. She is better known as the first and last love of Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Alongside Empress Mariam-uz-Zamani, her grand daughter known as Bahar Banu Begum is also buried in the same mausoleum compound which tells that she might have been her favourite.
This tomb has been quite damaged by the addition of a lot of white plaster during the British rule which actually shadowed the tomb's former beauty. This mausoleum was known to be used as a printing press for an orphanage centre during the British rule and has suffered a lot of damage. Before the mutiny when the High Court used to be in Agra, the Government Press was located in this mausoleum and the Native Christian school as well as the Orphanage occupied some portion of the garden. Ever since the government press was transferred to Allahabad the whole mausoleum and garden was passed into the hands of the native government who put up a huge number of partitioned walls in the mausoleum and made factories there, which actually damaged the tomb. After India-Pakistan partition the tomb also housed Sindhi refugees and at that time it was degraded further.
Mariam-uz-Zamani made a large garden close to the tomb of Akbar in Sikandra which originally had an open baradari (pleasure pavilion) that was built during the rule of Sikander Lodi, in the year 1495 AD. After Mariam's death in May 1623, she was buried 1 km away from her husband's tomb and the baradari was converted into a mausoleum by Jahangir who made a large tomb over her grave and made a crypt below the central compartment and finally remodelling it drastically with a lot of additions of embellishments such as frescoes and floral carvings.
The mausoleum consists of three tombstones: one out of which is the underground mortuary chamber, which is actually the grave; the cenotaph is just above it; and there is one more cenotaph on the terrace. The ground floor has a total of forty chambers, which has faint traces of paintings on plastered walls. The center of the ground floor consists of the cenotaph of Empress Mariam-uz-Zamani.
