ZANZIBAR, TANZANIA: Guide to PARADISE! The MOST Beautiful Beaches in Africa!
Zanzibar is a tropical island off the coast of Tanzania. The island has the most beautiful white beaches and sights in all of Africa. In this adventurous video, we take a trip as a family to this dream destination. First we fly from Tanzania to Zanzibar, then rent a car and visit the absolute highlights in this video: Nungwi Beach, Paye, Stone Town, Kendwa Beach, Jambiani, Mtende and Eden Rock. Before this you saw us in Asia and after Zanzibar we will cross over to the mainland to go on Safari. We go by jeep past all the animals through the most beautiful nature and also rent a camper to drive through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. We also visit Mauritius and Reunion by plane!
We make our journey through Africa during a world trip of one and a half years. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines . Zanzibar and Tanzania are already destination number 21 on the big trip. We have also been away from home for a year. Follow us on this world tour, first in Tanzania, from Zanzibar to the safari parks on the mainland and then to many more beautiful destinations in Africa! The BEST Place in ZANZIBAR - NUNGWI (Tanzania)
This is Nungwi in Zanzibar! an incredible spot by the Indian Ocean. It has some of the bluest water I have seen and is comparable to the Caribbean and the Quintana Roo coast of Mexico. I had only seen this type of water in places like Playa Del Carmen, Cozumel, Tulum and Cancun when I was in Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula. But this place had not let me down! I started my journey in Stone Town further down the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania and then went up to Kendwa and finally Nungwi. You will see some drone shots of the beach and also 2 different resorts close to the beach.

Forest of Jozani.
Most visitors come to see the uncommon red colobus monkey, which is found in this huge and gorgeous stretch of green that is part of Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park.
Nungwi.
You've come to the Indian Ocean to dig your toes into caster sugar-white coral sands, and the place to do it is Nungwi, Zanzibar's northwesternmost tip. There's a Hilton DoubleTree Resort here, as well as a few lodges set in tropical gardens, beach huts, and sea-view restaurants, but the place hasn't been overrun by international tourists, and islanders mix freely with visitors.
Forodhani Market.
As the day turns to nightfall in Stone Town, Forodhani Gardens morphs into a calorific circus: welcome to Zanzibar's amazing night-time food market, a flurry of chefs juggling spewing pots. The scents are incredible, and the menu selection is incredible. Bring plenty of food. Some of the dishes may be known to you, such as tandoori lobster kebabs or falafel the size of your fist.
Museum of the Palace.
The Palace Museum, which dates from 1883 and was built on the orders of Sayyid Sir Barghash bin Said Al-Busaid, the second Sultan of Zanzibar, is a beautiful confection of coral stone, silver fittings, and acres of marble beneath the foot.
Wonders of the World.
The House of Wonders, also known as Beit-al-Ajaib, is part of a Unesco World Heritage site that is in danger of collapsing (and indeed, a partial collapse happened in December 2020, prompting the Omani government to pledge millions of dollars towards repairs).
Spice Tour.
Spices were brought to Zanzibar by Portuguese traders from their colonies in India and South America some 500 years ago, and they have made it a trading hub for centuries. Cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and other spices are still produced in small organic farms today.
The Historic Fort.
The Old Fort, Stone Town's oldest structure, is located on the beachfront, directly across from Forodhani Gardens. The Old Fort, which was built in the 17th century to defend the island from assaulting the Portuguese, is today one of Stone Town's most popular attractions.
The Rock.
A symbol of culinary brilliance can be found on the inconspicuous peninsula of Michamvi, on the east coast of Unguja island. The Rock restaurant started as a lifeline for subsistence fishermen and has now grown into Zanzibar's premier dining experience.
