Ultimate Mexican Street Food Tour!! MEAT JUICE TACOS + Sonoran Hot Dogs in Tucson, Arizona!!

???? Eating the Original Chimichanga:
???? NEW T-shirts and caps available now:

TUCSON, ARIZONA - Welcome to Tucson, Arizona, a small city, with huge heart and a lot of delicious Mexican food. Today we’re going on an ultimate Mexican street food tour of Tucson, and I can’t wait to share all the food with you today!

Friends in the video:
???? Adam Lehrman: (
???? Jeffrey Merrihue: - Stop by at Heroic Italian ( in Santa Monica and say Hi to Jeffrey who is there most days!
???? Mexi Papa: @mexipapaadventures (

Here are all the street food stalls, trucks, and restaurants we ate at:

Taqueria El Rapido: - We started off with Taqueria El Rapido a laid back food truck selling a variety of different tacos. Mexi Papa ordered a combination taco for all of us, including asada, tripa, and cabeza, three wonderful different textures. It was a delicious taco and a great way to begin this food tour.

El Guero Canelo Restaurant: - Sonoran hot dogs are one of the most popular foods in Tucson, and there are many to choose from. We decided on El Guero Canelo as it’s one of the most legendary, historical, and because this restaurant has even received a James Beard award - an award winning hot dog. It didn’t disappoint, a delicious creation.

Rollies Mexican Patio: - Next up for a modern twist to local Tucson Mexican food - Rollies. We had rolled tacos, flat enchiladas, carne asada fries, birria tacos, and birria ramen. You could taste the quality and amazing flavors. Great laid back spot with delicious Mexican Tucson style food.

Cocteleria La Palma Mariscos: - When you have the meat sweats, head over to Cocteleria La Palma Mariscos for their ceviche and coctels. The mix of seafood was extremely refreshing and perfect for the hot afternoon in Arizona. I also thought their ceviche shrimp tostada was fantastic.

Tacos De Cabeza Estilo Cajeme: - Finally, probably one of my favorite places on this Mexican street food tour and favorite places in Tucson is Tacos De Cabeza Estilo Cajeme, where they specializes in head and tongue tacos. The owners are extremely friendly and their tacos will melt in your mouth.

And that completes this ultimate Mexican street food tour in Tucson, Arizona. We all really enjoyed it. Tucson has so much character, unique food, and friendly people.

The Best BBQ Tour with MARK WIENS in Phoenix, Arizona!!

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of American BBQ. I love trying the BBQ in cities all over the country and seeing and tasting the differences between them. So I joined my friend @MarkWiens on an epic BBQ tour of Phoenix, Arizona!

Eating MEXICAN FOOD with MARK WIENS for 24 HOURS in Phoenix, Arizona!!

???? MARK WIENS:
???? CARLOS:

With another day in Phoenix, Arizona ahead of me, I set out on an incredible Mexican food tour with my friend Mark Wiens! Come with me as I eat Mexican food with Mark Wiens for 24 hours in Phoenix, Arizona!

We’d be hitting up three spots for lots of delicious Sonoran dishes. Sonora is the Mexican state that borders Arizona. We’d be starting at Taqueria La Hacienda, a food truck that sells tacos, tortas, quesadillas, and more!

✈️ CHECK OUT MY TRAVEL BLOG:
???? DAVID’S BEEN HERE MERCH:

Mark ordered two tongue tacos and two head tacos, as well as a breakfast burrito. After watching the cooks prepare it all in the truck, we started with the head tacos with onion and cilantro. Tacos de cabeza are quintessential breakfast tacos!

???????? TA’CARBON:
???????? MI LINDO MICHOACAN MEXICAN CORRAL:
???????? EL CAAPRICHOSO HOT DOGS:

I loved the spice level and the tortillas. I followed it with a pepper and the taco de lengua. It had an incredible texture and was full of flavor. The saltiness was also fantastic!

Then, we went with the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito. The crumbly scrambled eggs and minced chorizo with salsa and lime was unbelievable! It’s a true breakfast of champions. This was real Mexican food!

After finishing, we drove 15 minutes to Ta’Carbon for a caramelo and some carne asada tacos with cilantro, onions, lime, and salsa. They both used flour tortillas, which are more popular in Sonora, as opposed to the corn tortillas that are preferred elsewhere in Mexico.

The carne asada was so beefy and smoky! It was the best Mexican food of my life. Next, I had some horchata, or rice water, which is very sweet and combats the heat. Then, we jumped on the taco hass, which contained smoky chilies and cheese but wasn’t too hot. I loved it!

Finally, we had the caramelo, which is basically a quesadilla, which we added onions, cilantro, cabbage, salsas, and lime to. The flaky tortilla and smoky carne asada really made it!

Next, we drove to Mi Lindo Michoacan Mexican Corral, where we’d get some carnitas! It’s the best place for carnitas in Phoenix. Mark’s picture is even up in their window! In the kitchen, they let me try the carnitas, skin, and the stomach straight out of the vat of meat. It was so good and melted in my mouth!

First, we jumped on the nopales chalupa, which contains cactus, carnitas, and cheese, with spicy sausages on the side. The nopales had a bit of a slimy texture and was cheesy with a bit of a pickled flavor. I’d never had it before!

We also had carnitas tacos at our table with Carlos. You should add a combination of the carnitas, ribs, and stomach to your tortilla, as well as the picked onions, and salsa. The soft tortilla and rich pork were unreal, and adding the vegetables added some freshness. They were some of the best tacos of my life! The skin was the best!

From there, Carlos, Mark, and I headed to El Caprichoso Hot Dogs for some Sonoran hot dogs. They come wrapped in bacon and come with peppers, toasted buns, beans, tomatoes, sauces, cheese, caramelized onions, and more. They’re massive!

The bacon-wrapped hot dog and fluffy bun were incredible. I loved the sauces, which sauces make them so messy but so good! The peppers were hotter than jalapenos but slowly built, and the pillowy bun was fantastic with the earthy beans, sweet caramelized onions, and fresh tomatoes. I’m not a hot dog guy, but I loved this one!

At Curry Corner, we dove into garlic naan, seekh kebabs, dal, tandoori chicken, chapli kebabs, nihari, and masala fries with chicken tikka masala sauce, feta, and cilantro.

Our day ended at a food truck called Desi Gaad, where we tried samosa chaat, goat pepper fry, papdi chaat, punugulu, masala vada, chicken pakoda, and onion samosas!

Our second day was all about Mexican food from the state of Sonora! We started with authentic breakfast burritos, tongue tacos, and head tacos at Taqueria La Hacienda.

At Ta’Carbon, we went for a caramelo, beefy carne asada tacos, taco hass, and horchata. Then, at Mi Lindo Michoacan Mexican Corral, we had mouthwatering carnitas and a nopales chalupa! We finished for a Sonoran hot dog at El Caprichoso Hot Dogs!

Day three was all about barbecue, so we started at JL Smokehouse to try their special Mark Wiens platter, which includes pork belly, brisket, pulled pork, rib tips, green beans, barbecued spaghetti, smoked sausage, and a shrimp po’boy!

Finally, at Little Miss BBQ, we had Texas-style brisket, a 2.2-lb dinosaur beef rib, jalapeno cheddar sausage, and a smoked pecan pie. We were bursting by the end, but what an amazing 72 hours!

???? Boston Food Tour:
???? SUBSCRIBE: Don’t miss new food videos!

TUCSON, ARIZONA - Welcome to Tucson, Arizona, one of the best Mexican food cities in the United States, and one of the great places to eat Sonoran Mexican food. When it comes to Sonoran food, the King of all dishes is carne asada, or grilled steak - grilled meat. In Northern Mexico is where they have cattle ranches that produce the best beef in the country. Tucson has many authentic local restaurants and street food stalls that specialize in carne asada, and today we’re going on an ultimate carne asada tour of Tucson!

Thanks to my friends Carlos and Annette for joining us on this tour and Alejandro (if you’re in Tucson and need transportation, look him up).

???? Los Tacos Apson ( - First place is Los Tacos Apson one of the best taquerias for carne asada in Tucson, and one of the best in the United States! They have a variety of things from the grill, including beef ribs, steak cuts, calf testicles, and a few other unique parts. They grill everything over mesquite to give all meat an amazing smoky taste. Their tacos and ribs and outstanding!

???? El Guero Canelo ( - Next up we met up with the owner of El Guero Canelo to taste his version of carne asada. He grills his high quality beef over mesquite and the burritos are huge. I love their salsa and toppings bar.

???? Taqueria Aqui Con El Nene ( - Continuing on this Mexican street food tour, Taqueria Aqui Con El Nene is another place that specializes in carne asada, especially Obregon style. Their taco yaqui, with includes carne asada, mushrooms, and bacon all melted within an open faced green chile and settled onto two overlapping flour tortillas is insanely delicious.

???? Karamelo King ( - Finally to complete this Mexican street food tour in Tucson, we went to Karamelo King to eat a karamelo, which is basically a stuffed quesadilla. They grill the carne asada fresh, then melt cheese on a tortilla, load it up with toppings, and serve it with onions and salsas on the side. It’s absolutely spectacular!

And that completes this ultimate King of carne asada, Mexican street food tour in Tucson, Arizona - again one of the best Mexican food cities in the United States!

American Food BBQ!! ???? DRY RUB RIBS + America’s Best Pulled Pork!! | JL Smokehouse!!

???? Street Food in Phuket:
???? JL Smokehouse BBQ:

JL SMOKEHOUSE BBQ - Welcome to Phoenix, Arizona, USA, and today we’re going to JL Smokehouse BBQ ( where James Lewis serves amazing BBQ! He is so passionate and knowledgeable about barbecue and I can’t wait for you to meet him in this video. Let’s go eat! #BBQ #Phoenix #Arizona

As soon as you enter JL Smokehouse you know it’s laid back and unique. JL as he calls himself, is the pitmaster, and knows his bbq. Although he offers brisket, chicken, sausages and an assortment of meats, his southern style bbq pork ribs and pulled pork are the true highlights and something you don’t want to miss. “I have the best pulled pork in the country,” says Lewis, and when you see how the entire pork shoulder melts on the smoker, you know it’s special. Before serving it, they chop it up coarsely and then squeeze on a generous amount of their legendary bbq sauce.

I ordered the slugger combo plate, which included six different bbq meats and a few sides, plus I got an entire rack of pork ribs. JL showed me how he seasons the ribs with his own recipe dry rub, then smokes the ribs bone side down - never ever flipping them over. The pulled pork was indeed the best I’ve had, so smoky, so ultra tender and bursting with flavor when combined with the tangy bbq sauce. JL mentioned that he didn’t like to classify his bbq into any US regions, but did mention that it’s influenced and similar to Memphis style bbq.

“Put Some South in Your Mouth!!” - JL Smokehouse!!

It was an amazing experience to hang out with JL for a few hours and learn about his process of BBQ and to eat an amazing BBQ meal. When you’re in Phoenix, Arizona, if you love food and BBQ, you’re not going to want to miss it.

Meat Bathtub!! ULTIMATE CARNITAS TACOS ???????? Mexican Food in Phoenix, Arizona!

???? Mexican Street Food in Tucson:
???? Mexican Corral in Phoenix:
???? NEW T-shirts and caps available now:

PHOENIX, ARIZONA: Carnitas are one of the ultimate of all Mexican foods, a dish originating in the state of Michoacan, or pork braised in its own fat to create the ultimate flavor. Hanging out with @mexipapaadventures and Jeffrey, in Phoenix, we headed to Mexican Corral for the best and unique version of carnitas in Arizona.

Huge thank you to Mexican Corral ( for taking such good care of us and for their amazing food.

Friends in the video:
???? @mexipapaadventures : (
???? Jeffrey Merrihue: - Stop by at Heroic Italian ( in Santa Monica and say Hi to Jeffrey who is there most days!

So we arrived and I was excited to eat carnitas. As the owner Jesus and his wife explained to us, while normal Michoacan style carnitas are boiled in its own melted fat, their carnitas are a little different. They have developed a recipe of boiling the meat in oil, mainly avocado oil, to create a perfect texture to the meat, leaving it rich and flavorful without being too oily. What a move and it works so well. We got a combination of meat, stomach and skin, and as Mexi Papa demonstrated, the combination of all three is award winning - the way the meat works with the skin and the addition of salsa to create the perfect balance.

Mexican Corral also surprised us with a few more amazing dishes like nopal cactus and spicy Mexican sausages hot dogs, and the cactus chalupa. By my favorite thing, besides the carnitas was the michelada, a mix of tomato juice, shrimp juice, salted plums, and shrimp hanging off the side. It was spectacular and went so well with the carnitas!

And that completes an award winning meal at Mexican Corral in Phoenix, Arizona. Amazing people, amazing food. Highly recommended, don’t miss their carnitas!

American Food - The BEST BRISKET AND RIBS BARBECUE in Chicago! Smoque BBQ

ULTIMATE foodie GUIDE to Phoenix, Arizona. Where should YOU eat?

More Phoenix:
In this epic food tour in Phoenix, AZ, we go to 10 restaurants and bars in 5 different neighborhoods (during Halloween) to get a better understanding of this city.

Phoenix, The Valley of the Sun, gets a lot of bad rep for being a giant strip mall or a town for retirees. But it's now the fifth-biggest city in America. And its food scene - one of the fastest-growing in the nation! However, it's hard to decide What and Where to eat in Phoenix. There are more than 20 cities and towns to choose from! So, we checked out 5 different neighborhoods, starting from taquerias, and gourmet restaurants to cool concepts, and the crown jewel, the Little Miss BBQ.

For more Phoenix videos like this:

In this video:

♨️ Postinos (Tempe). Tempe neighborhood, home to the infamous Arizona State University, is a good area to check out. Just about 7 miles east of downtown Phoenix you'll find plenty of offbeat places that cater to the college crowd.

♨️ Little Miss BBQ (Sunnyslope). 7 miles north of downtown you'll find yourself in Sunnyslope neighborhood. I came here for one thing only: Barbecue. This place is legendary and plenty of people make a pilgrimage to Phoenix just to eat here.

♨️ Chico Malo (Downtown). A Mexican restaurant that prides itself for celebrating Mexican cuisine and for elevated cooking techniques and local ingredients.

♨️ Arrogant Butcher (Downtown). Steps away from the Footprint Center (where Phoenix Suns play) sits Arrogant Butcher. This place has a bit of everything to offer for various tastes. One of the better spots to go if you find yourself in the downtown area.

♨️ Taco Boy's. (Roosevelt Row). Probably the single best meal I've had when I was in Phoenix. Sonoran style grilling over mesquite grill produces some tasty results. Their meats are incredible!

???? Roosevelt Row (Row Row) is the arts district part of the city, where hipster run bars and restaurants showcase the best that Phoenix can offer.

????The Churchill. This place is a food court made out of shipping containers that hosts only local businesses. Tenants pay the rent socially by doing community service. Truly uniquely Phoenix invention.

♨️ The Golden Margarita (closed down shortly after I visited)

♨️ The Arizona Wilderness Brewery. A great great proper beer garden showcasing locally beers. Due to heat and drought that Phoenix faces they use drought-resistant hops to brew their beer.

♨️Crujiente Tacos (Arcadia). Voted as the best tacos in the valley they specialize in unique and gourmet tacos.

Most INSANE LAMB PIT BARBACOA - Mexican Food in Texcoco + AZTEC Pyramids, Mexico!

From Oaxaca, we flew to Mexico City, and to begin our Mexico City food tour!

We landed at Benito Juárez International Airport and I had arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport to take us first to eat barbacoa - one of the ultimate of all Mexican meat dishes, and then on to go to the Aztec Pyramids of Teotihuacan.

We drove straight to a small town in the mountains called Texcoco. The hills around Texcoco are known for their barbacoa, Mexican style of barbecue. Even when I was in the US, I remember seeing little hole in the wall restaurant serving “Barbacoa estilo Texcoco,” Texcoco style Mexican barbacoa - so it’s famous for this dish.

El Pica I - The restaurant I wanted to try was El Pica I, and even in this small mountain town, the restaurant was absolutely bumping - there was a meat party happening. You could smell the aroma of the lamb as we drove in. You choose a table, and you walk around and self serve your food. There are many Mexican foods to eat, but the real reason you come here is for the lamb barbacoa - the most insane lamb pit bbq! The meat is cooked in underground clay ovens, and when they open an oven it looks like they are opening a mine.

The lamb barbacoa was some of the most tender meat I’ve ever experienced. It was fatty and juicy and ultra flavorful.

Price - 800 MXN ($42.95) for 2 kg.

Teotihuacan - Stuffed full of lamb, we continued on to Teotihuacan, the ancient Aztec city, known for its giant pyramids. Unfortunately since we went on a Sunday, it was absolutely packed, so busy that we couldn’t even hike to the top of the Pyramid of the Sun because we ran out of time. But nevertheless, it was still worth visiting and it’s very impressive to see.

Entrance price - 70 MXN ($3.76)

Highlight of today for me was the insanely irresistible lamb barbacoa in Texcoco, WOW. Thank you for watching this Mexican food tour!
