The Turkish state has lost its monopoly on thinking. Hundreds of television stations are fighting for the attention of the viewer: television soap operas, talk shows and 24-hour news. Everyone can be heard: from strictly religious to extremely secular. But in this country there are also nearly 60 journalists in jail. Where are the limits of what is allowed in the new Turkey?
