My favorite Food Market in Paris - The stunning Saint-Germain covered market
One of my favourite Food Market in Paris! The Marche' Saint-German in the Odeon quarter. The Saint-Germain covered market takes place under beautiful arcades. It is open 6 days a week and has fruit and vegetable sellers, grocers, fishmongers, and stalls selling roast meat and international foods (Iberian, Italian, Greek, etc.). Also, you won't be able to resist a glance at the stall owned by cheesemaker Michel Sanders. How many cheeses can you find in a typical French market?

Join us on our Sunday late morning walk through Marché Bastille, an open-air street market, stretching between the Bastille and Richard Lenoir metro stations, that is among the very best in Paris. Its 150-plus stalls are piled high with fruit and vegetables, meats, poultry, charcuterie, fish, shellfish, cheeses, olives and seasonal specialities such as truffles, as well as flowers. Our walk takes us to Place de la Bastille's and its Colonne de Juillet.
