Welcome to São Tomé. In December of 2019 and with the help of Expedition Earth, I travelled to São Tomé Island. We went on a recon mission to scout the island for future tours. This island was recommended to us by one of Johan's friends and wow this is a lost paradise, to say the least!
We traversed the island for 16 days and despite the Island being reasonably small, we still did not get around to everything. This island has so much to over and see and the history on this remote island is beyond belief. Enjoy this video and I hope everyone gets a chance to travel to this beautiful island called São Tomé!

Let's travel to São Tomé
Located off the west coast of Africa, the island of São Tomé is a hidden gem that's just waiting to be discovered. With its lush rainforests, pristine beaches, and fascinating history, São Tomé is a destination that's sure to leave a lasting impression on any traveler.
As soon as you step off the plane, you'll be struck by the island's natural beauty. The lush vegetation and vibrant colors of the flowers and trees make São Tomé feel like a paradise on earth. The island's capital city, São Tomé City, is a bustling hub of activity, with colorful markets, historic buildings, and a lively waterfront promenade.
One of the highlights of any trip to São Tomé is exploring the island's many beautiful beaches. From the secluded coves of Praia dos Tamarindos to the long stretches of golden sand at Praia Micondó, there's a beach to suit every taste. The locals are proud of their island and eager to share its beauty and culture with visitors.
