Welcome to NAXOS! We took a 6 hour Ferry from Athens to the beautiful island of NAXOS! ???????? The wind was so bad, the cyclades are actually known to be pretty windy at times and during our visit there was actually a storm brewing, hence the super loud wind throughout and the questionable weather! Saying that, we did actually manage to explore as much as we could, being October some of the beach restaurants had started to close so we were lucky to visit when we did!

BAHAMAS Vacation Budget Travel Guide 2024 ????️
In this budget travel vlog about the Bahamas, we're sharing our practical expenses for a budget-friendly getaway.
We booked roundtrip flights for just $206 USD per person. After a $35 USD taxi ride from the airport to our accommodation, we decided to opt for a cheaper transportation choice – a 2-day car rental for $100 USD.
We also got around on the jitneys which is the local bus system and the most affordable transportation option in Nassau, Bahamas.
We stayed a bit outside of downtown Nassau in a comfy VRBO with a pool, which cost us $125 USD per night for three nights.
We managed to keep most of our activities budget-friendly, like visiting the Atlantis aquarium for free in the evenings and enjoying complimentary tours, including rum cake tasting, a distillery tour, and tea tasting.
The most significant expense featured in this video (outside of flights) was a half-day swimming with turtles, fish, and pigs on Rose Island with Shore 2 Shore, which cost us $150 USD per person.
To save on dining out, we spent $46 USD on groceries. We'll also give you our honest reviews of the restaurants we tried, and trust us, most were absolutely delicious!
In total, our 4-day (3-night) Bahamas trip came to $612.90 USD per person, covering flights, transportation, accommodation, food, and activities.
Prices can of course vary depending on dates, and the number of people you travel with. This is just to give you an idea!

2PM — Arrive in Singapore (Explore Changi Airport during 4-5hr layover)
6:30PM — Hop on flight to the Maldives
8PM — Arrive at Maldives airport, buy a sandwich :P
9PM — Take a bus from the airport to Hulhumale that runs 24/7. You can pay in US dollars about $1 per journey. Get off at first stop. Walk to Turquoise Residence by UI (BOOK HOTEL HERE:
10AM — Check in. Sleep.
Day 2
7AM — FREE Buffet breakfast at hotel
9AM — Walk around Hulhumale, (tbh, not much to see in town, it’s quite residential) FREE DAY
10AM — Visit public tourist beach here (Bikinis are not allowed in most beaches since the Maldives is a Muslim nation, so only wear your Bikinis if you are on “Tourist Bikini Beach”) We mostly killed time in our hotel (we only booked this place is only because it was accessible to the airport)
5PM — Found cheap roti + curry early dinner
6PM — Walk back to hotel
9PM — Call it a night
Day 3
7AM — FREE Buffet Breakfast at Hotel
8AM — Take Early Bus from hotel to Airport — $1 (or P60-80) / pax
9AM — Visit the Villa Hotels counter outside the main terminal where the staff will help you join the boat to Paradise Island Resort (*UPDATE: Paradise Island Resort has changed their name to Villa Nautica*) (BOOK Luxury Resort HERE—
11AM — Hop onto the speedboat to Villa Nautica (20 min ride)
12NN — Check in early, and pre-arrange transfer back to the airport for tomorrow
1PM — Explore resort, take photoshoots (water villa room tour, bathtub, walkway photoshoot)
7PM — Eat at resort resto for dinner
8PM — Watch stingray feeding at resort beach
9PM — Sleep
Day 4
6AM — Wake up early & explore resort / photoshoot (Bike along the villas, photoshoot at the bathtub, photos on resort beach, photos along walkways)
10AM — FREE breakfast at resort
12NN — Checkout
12:30PM — Speedboat back to the Airport (20 min)
1PM — Take taxi to Villingili Ferry Terminal
3PM — Take ferry from Male to Maafushi Island (1.45hrs boat ride)
5PM — Arrive at Maafushi & walk to Nala Island Village Hotel (BOOK HERE:
6PM — Walk to iCom tours & prebook Shark + Dolphin tour for tom
6:30PM — Watch sunset at beach
7PM — Have dinner at Hot Bite restaurant
