Hine Tai'a : chroniques d'une famille de pêcheurs - TEASER
Teaser du documentaire diffusés sur France Ô dans l'émission Archipels
Présenté comme un « jardin d’Eden » par Robert Louis Stevenson en 1888, le village de Tautira et ses habitants n’ont rien perdu de leur superbe au fil des siècles.
Ce village de pêcheurs, est situé au bout de la route, sur la côte nord de la presqu’île de Tahiti. C'est le dernier avant la côte sauvage et il est réputé pour son authenticité. Loin du stress de Papeete, Tautira abrite les meilleurs pêcheurs de la grande île et les terres les plus fertiles. Fiers d’habiter l’un des districts qui nourrit Tahiti, les villageois sont réputés pour être de courageux travailleurs. On y rencontre Tetuaura, entourée de toute sa famille. Elle est l'une des rares femmes à pratiquer la pêche au gros. Accompagnée de sa soeur, elle sort tous les jours pour subvenir aux besoins des siens.
Ce qui fait la réputation des pêcheurs de Tautira, c’est leur connaissance parfaite du lagon et de l'océan qui les entourent, un formidable garde-manger qu’ils surveillent de près.

Tucked in the lavish Coral Gables is Cocoplum, an exclusive, one-of-a-kind waterfront neighborhood meticulously planned to perfect the combination of nature's beauty with architectural distinction.
The secluded, gated community borders the Gables Waterway and the Biscayne Bay edge and is conveniently located within 15 minutes of Downtown Coral Gables.
Within the gated enclave are 302 estate homes, including 172 waterfront residencies. There is currently no population information for this community.

For one, residents enjoy top-class amenities that embody South Florida's resort-style living, such as 24-hour strict security, a clubhouse, a yacht club, three tennis courts, and a full-service marina.
Tahiti Beach, another private subdivision within Cocoplum, offers Cocoplum residents access to a private beach as well.
The luxe island overlooking the stunning Biscayne Bay is home to only 26 mansions and shares amenities with Cocoplum.
Regarding the community's real estate, Cocoplum offers waterfront and non-waterfront home options with architectural styles from the Mediterranean to Contemporary and everything in between.

Ainsi, nous quittons notre première location d'arrivée à Tipaerui proche de Papeete, pour découvrir un environnement différent, de l'autre côté de l'île, à Pirae vers la côté Est. Suivez-nous !

1. Where do you live?: I am based in Edmonton, Alberta & was born & raised in Peterborough, Ontario ... Canada ;)
2. What do you do for a living?: TL Travel is my very own business built by yours truly from the ground up. I love to share my passion for travel with others & I both plan & lead trips abroad. Find more information on the business at or
3. How do you make money?: Again, all of my income is currently through TL Travel (not youtube.) The content that I create is simply to share my passion with all of you, but of course I am always open to collaborations & other related opportunities.
4. What editing program do you use?: Premier Pro CS6
5. What camera do you use?: For nicer shots and a lot of my vlogs I film with the Canon 70D. When I am on the road & need a bit more waterproof/ drop proof abilities I film with both GoPro & the Olympus Stylus Tough TG-3

7. How long does it take to edit 1 video?: It is different from one video to another but on average I spend around 2 hours editing each video from start to finish.
8. What are your favorite countries to visit?: I have many favorites but right now Thailand, Nicaragua & Indonesia are at the top of my list of fav.'s
9. What countries are on your bucket list?: New Zealand & India are two that I can't wait to visit one day.

Fare Makana is a Balinese-style wooden house located in a gated neighborhood on the northern coast of Moorea Island, French Polynesia.
This new holiday home in Moorea is only at few steps of a beautiful white sand beach with shallow clear waters lagoon. The beach is accessible thanks to a path situated right in front of the property.
The property features 2 bedrooms and 1 mezzanine (all with double beds). There are two bathrooms. There is also a living room with a fully equipped kitchen opening onto a terrace. The mezzanine is right above the living room.
The 4th sleeping room is an independent bungalow with a double bed situated at the end of the wooden deck.
The holiday home, Fare Makana, sleeps comfortably 8 persons in 4 double beds. We recommend it for one or two families.
The property has no air conditioning but fans are available.
This vacation rental has no fence around but the garden is nicely planted and the neighborhood quiet and lovely.
Free WIFI and one kayak available for your stay.
The property is ideally located: supermarkets and grocery stores (Champion and Libre Service Maharepa at 5 min drive, Paopao grocery store at 8 min drive), retails, shops, golf course, airport, ferry docks are only at 5 minutes or less by car from the property.
A car is necessary during your stay as there is no public transportation in Moorea.

En attendant de trouver notre propre catamaran, nous avons décidé de profiter quand même de la mer, des embruns, en réservant un catamaran charter privé qui nous embarque vers Tetiaroa, la magnifique et célèbre île de Marlon Brando (située à 3h30 de navigation de Tahiti). Un moment intense, enchanteur et inoubliable...
Nous avons dégusté chaque seconde de cette belle escapade, et nous vous la partageons avec un immense plaisir :) Bon visionnage à vous.
