I am SO happy to be in a hot sunny destination in Peru with no altitude ????☀️ God it feels good!! Huacachina is a small touristy town just a short ride away from the city of Ica and is situated in the desert surrounded by miles of huge sand dunes. So the most popular thing to do here is head out in a sand buggy and go sandboarding! I absolutely loved this activity. I stayed at Bananas Adventure Hostel which I'd also highly recommend - perfect hostel life sipping cocktails and making friends by the pool.

Solo Travel to Peru ???????? | Lima, Peru | Miraflores, Plaza de Armas, Barranco
I decided to take a week long solo trip down to Peru, which is where I currently am! All the footage from this vlog was filmed and uploaded in the same day, so as I'm writing this I am sitting in an AirBnb in Barranco, Peru.
I visited the city center of Lima, where I saw the San Fransisco Church, as well as the catacombs underneath. I made my way down to Miraflores and eventually ended up in Barranco for the night. So far, this looks like it'll be an amazing adventure.

In day 1, I had layover in Miami and walked around a bit and realized I would definitely not belong to Miami. Took the second flight to Lima and spent time with a friend I met in the Philippines to see Miraflores and Barranco in Lima!

Solo Trip to MACHU PICCHU ???????? Peru Travel Vlog
Machu Picchu was one of the main reasons why I chose Peru as my first solo travel destination and it was really an AMAZING place to be in. I took the train from Cusco and stayed in Aguas Calientes overnight to visit Machu Picchu. In the next video you will see me hiking Huayna Picchu!

After leaving behind the beaches of Southeast Asia it was time to venture into a new country: Peru. This time, it would be a whole new adventure too when I met 15 readers of the blog to take them on an epic adventure around Peru with my tour co-leader, Pete.
In this episode we start off in Cusco, Peru, visiting the Moray, Salinas de Maras, via ferrata and ziplining in the Sacred Valley, and then the 4 day, 3 night trek down the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
A few of us also hiked up Huayna Picchu, finishing with an incredible view over Machu Picchu. It was an adventure I'll never forget full of llamas, Alpacas, ancient Incan ruins, and of course, one of the seven ancient Wonders of the World. We finished our trip with none other than Rainbow Mountain.
This was an adventure I'll never forget with people I am so privileged to have been able to bond with and bring on a tour of Peru. I long suspected it but now I know for certain: Be My Travel Muse readers are awesome!
