This was my and my wife's first time in Ireland. It happened to be our honeymoon, but we did not sit still. We were on a mission to explore this gorgeous, green country. Tag along with us from the international streets of Dublin to the breathtaking Dingle Peninsula and beyond. We stayed in a castle, rode horses, hung out with falcons, visited the Guinness Storehouse, ate the best ice cream we’ve ever had, hiked along the legendary Cliffs of Moher, and enjoyed some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. We started our trip in our previous vlog, swimming at sunrise with the Happy Pear in Greystones, County Wicklow. We then stopped in Kilkenny on our way to Doolin and Cliffs of Moher on the West Coast. Next, we continued past Galway to the stunning Connemara National Park before finishing off the trip in the capital of Dublin.

30 Travel Tips for Ireland
Everyone hopes to have some Irish in them. Anyone who has traveled to Ireland simply can't deny the fact that the people there are some of the kindest in the world. On top of that, you'll find an immense amount of interesting history and endless beauty around every bend. After 10 incredible days in Ireland, I have put together my second travel film ( and some tips from my first visit. My wife and I explored Dublin, Galway, Dingle, Killarney National Park, and much in-between. We stayed in a castle, road horses, learned about falconry, stopped by the Guinness Storehouse, saw the Book of Kells at Trinity College, drove the Dingle Peninsula, and hiked the Cliffs of Moher and the Gap of Dunloe. Keep in mind these tips are based on my personal itinerary so be sure to add your own advice in the comments below. Happy trails!
P.S. I apologize for pronouncing Galway wrong. I would correct it, but YouTube does not allow changes. I'll keep learning from my mistakes. From now on I promise to say Gawl-way.

Road Trip Across Ireland | 8 Day Honeymoon
Instead of asking for wedding gifts, Heather and I wanted any giving to be put towards our honeymoon. Thanks to our friends and family, we were able to make our trip to Ireland. We spent 8 nights driving across the country, trying to see as much as we could. We spent the night in a castle, saw the Cliffs of Moher from above and from a boat, had a lightsaber fight on the island from Star Wars, explored numerous old castles (some completely abandoned), kissed the Blarney stone, visited the famous Guinness Storehouse (and had a sample or two), etc. etc.
This trip was also the real start to my filmmaking journey. Before we left, I saved up enough to buy a cheap camera and a drone by doing some landscaping work. This project has certainly been the most intense film/editing I’ve done. It was very ambitious as a first project, but I learned a ton doing it and quickly grew to appreciate how much work goes into the videos we all see every day. I know that I developed a strong foundation for my filmmaking because of it.
So, this video is both a way to thank everyone who helped us with our honeymoon and to share the true start of my videography journey. It’s a long one. So, grab some popcorn!

We stared in Dublin and visited all the sights, including an afternoon at the Guinness Storehouse where we each got our official Guinness pouring certificate. Totally official and legit. We rented a car and drove to an estate in Kilkenny, spent a day driving the Ring of Kerry and popped up to the Cliffs of Moher. After a day in Galway, we left for Northern Island to see the Giant's Causeway and Bushmills before taking a ferry to Scotland.

Dublin was THE MOST AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL place. The people, the landscape, everything! I don't think I've ever been more happy just enjoying a pint listening to live music - I could do it all day! The Cliffs of Moher were also amazingly beautiful! Take me back!
