Incredible Safari and Adventure Ride | You Gotta Love Botswana! - EP. 140

Khwai is a small village just outside of Moremi Game Reserve in Okavango Delta and it's one of the most desirable Botswanian safari destinations. Most of the tourists would fly in here for the safari experience. James and I rode there on the sandy road, which was a hell of an adventure. In Khwai we were hosted at the Bush Ways Safaris Sango Safari Camp where we got completely spoiled.

Bush Ways Safaris specialises in bush experiences and safari adventures since the 90s and they offer a whole range of semi participation or full serviced safaris. We only got a little taste of it due to our limited time. In the early morning, we did a game drive in the Moremi Reserve which was absolutely magic. We spotted so much wildlife and were mesmerized by the beauty of the wilderness around me.

Thank you Bush Ways Safaris for this unforgettable experience and James for the fun times and awesome conversations about the Dakar Rally.

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. All the money raised will go directly to helping Franek and his family so he can lead a normal life as best as possible, so please donate generously:

Welcome to Botswana! My First Experience on Okavango Delta - EP. 137

The moment I entered Botswana I had no set route or list of things to see. I just knew Botswana is famous for the Okavango Delta, large population of elephants and nicest people... Oh, and let's not forget sand, yes... I knew there's lots of sandy roads in Botswana. And right on my first day, I nearly ticked all of these boxes. As I got to Maun, I got lost and had to practice my sand riding. After which I desperately needed a little time on the bike. When I got an invitation to join my new friends for a little bit of boating and kayaking on the river – who am I to say no? How hard is it to kayak 25km, right?! When I saw how skinny this kayak was, I was too late to turn around. Despite all the challenges and risks, it was one hell of an adventure. And the most important part, no crocodiles ate us! Phew!

Overlanding The Nxai Pan Botswana Episode 1

Overlanding The Nxai Pan Botswana Episode 1

In this episode we are overlanding with Ed and Chris to Botswana, The Nxai Pan, in the rainy season, looking for predator encounters. We stop over 2 nights at Khama Rhino Sanctuary, 6 nights in the Nxai Pan Reserve, 2 nights at Xumaga Campsite, and then on the way back a night at Khama Rhino Sanctuary .

This part covers an epic trip towing the off-road trailers, on new roads and in new areas as we share our overlanding escape. The last time I camped at Nxai Pan, I was 9 years old with my dad, so this was all the more special.

Thank you Ed and Chris, simply epic trip gents.

Self Drive Botswana Free 4x4 Travel Guide.

Self Drive 4X4 Adventure. Complete Full Version Travel Guide.

Before You Go See This Video. Comprehensive Travel Guide. Now free to view on YouTube. Our route starts at the border with South Africa and takes us to the northern part of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (Deception Valley), from where we travel on to Maun – the Gateway to the Okavango Delta. We then headed north to Moremi, on to Savute, Linyanti and Ihaha in the beautiful Chobe National Park. We end our adventure in the town of Kasane in the North Eastern side of Botswana close to the magnificent Victoria Water Falls. Topics featured are National Parks, relevant towns, hotels and lodges, camping sites, road conditions and useful tips regarding your adventure. Since Africa has opened up for Tourist, many 4X4 owners and nature lovers are planning to visit various destinations offered by countries north of the Limpopo. The most popular destination is Botswana, without a doubt one of Africa’s last real bastions of game. A land of contrasts – from the harsh beauty of Central Kalahari to the lush woodlands of the Okavango Delta. Adventure Films recognized the need of many 4X4 owners for more information regarding this beautiful country. The adventurers who want to arrange their own 4X4 safari to Botswana are sometimes skeptical of going, due to the lack of information available regarding facilities, accommodation, road conditions and many more. For this reason, the video “The Botswana Adventure” was produced. The video is not a wildlife film. The purpose of this production is to inform potential visitors to Botswana about relative aspects that could assist them in planning their 4X4 adventure.
