大阪⇄上海 2泊3日船旅のんびり船で海外 新鑑真 Shanghai to Osaka ferry trip on the XIN JIAN ZHEN
日本と中国を結ぶ国際定期客船の存在を知ったのは実に最近の事であった。以来この船に乗ってみたいと、期待を膨らませていた。そして、このお正月休暇を利用して乗船を果たしたのであった。その記録としてこの動画を作成した。
国内フェリーは何回か乗った事があったが、2泊3日もの長距離航路は無論初めてであった。しかし、心配していた揺れもなく船酔の心配も無い安定した船旅であった。以前、台風通過直後のさんふらわあ札幌に乗った際は、常に布団で横になり、一歩も船内を歩けず、地獄のような一夜を過ごした事があった。あれはひどかった。しかし今回は極めて穏やかな海で良かった。
このフェリーの乗客の多くは中国人である。そして、ほとんどの中国人は研修生制度を利用して日本で働く人たちであった。その為、皆若くて日本で働く事を楽しみにしている様に見えた、一人の中国人の女の子は船内でも教科書を広げて日本語を勉強している熱心さだった。一方で乗船している日本人の多くは年配の方が多く、リタイア後にのんびりと船旅を楽しんでいるといった感じで、中国人の乗客とは対極の空気感だった。まさに今の日本を表しているような構図だった。
この船で働く乗組員に関しては全員中国人であった。受付等の接客業務にあたるスタッフは皆、日本語がある程度出来るようだ。
また、この船は中国人以外の乗客、特に日本人に対して特別配慮をしているように見えた。というのも、一等室の4人部屋を日本人のみに1人一部屋与えたり。二等に関しても中国人と日本人が同じ部屋にならないように気を使ったりと、色々と気を回している事が見て取れた。
そんな細やかな気配りもあり、この船旅はのんびりとできたし、今までにない経験が出来た旅となった。

I recently knew the fact of that there is ferry to connect China to Japan. Since I knew that fact, I wanted to get on that ferry one day. That ferry name is XIN JIAN ZHEN. JIAN ZHEN is historical famous buddhist name. He came to Japan from China to spread Buddhism in Japan. He tried to go to Japan so many times, But he suffered many natural disasters, however he never give up to go to Japan. His demand of spreading Buddhism in Japan was incredible. So this ferry was named XIN JIAN ZHEN after JIAN ZHEN with strong purpose to connect China to Japan.

Shanghai to Osaka Ferry Trip | 上海-大阪轮渡之旅～苏州号
The 46 hours ferry journey started in 2020.1.21 11:00am from Shanghai, and arrived in Osaka on 2020.1.23 9:00am.
Why ferry instead of flying you may ask, because the holidays were long enough for me to spend ^_^ !! So, just thought of trying out something more interesting and adventurous.

We went from Kobe to Shanghai by ferry. The boat is very good and we were able to travel very relaxed. As we bought the ticket one month in advance, we had a small discount. Here is the link:
If you are Japanese you do not need a visa to enter China, if you are going to be less than 15 days. But if you are from another country, except citizens of Singapore and Brunei, you will have to apply for a visa:

China to Japan by Ferry
Took the Ferry from Shanghai, China to Osaka, Japan. The 48 hour journey started in central Shanghai across from Pudong, sailed out the Huangpu River, onto the Yangtze River and then out into the East China Sea. There is a noticeable change in the colour of the water from ochre to blue as you leave the rivers behind. Whilst sailing, I saw a smack of Jellyfish (Yes, this is the collective term) and flying fish (which are only barely visible in this video shooting across the water's surface).
The ferry later traverses the strait between the Japanese mainland islands of Honshu and Kyushu at Shimonseki around sunset before docking in Osaka the following morning.

We sail from Shanghai China to TThis video shows one segment of Crystal Serenity's world cruise, Shanghai China to Tokyo Japan April 2016. A free, upscale, all inclusive tour of Beijing China was the highlight of the cruise. But great lectures and a class on Memoir Writing were also wonderful. Sailing to and still missing the massive 7.2 earthquake in lovely Fukuoka Japan by 4 days was the most exciting part of the trip. This was our first world cruise segment. The cruise experience is even better than normal cruises. The 22 minute video outlines our penthouse stateroom, the activities on board the ship and the incredible Beijing tour. A great Cruise indeed!
