It contains stock footage of Macau, at that time a Portuguese colony and today a region of China: panorama of the Island with ships docking on the port, ruins of Saint Paul's Catholic Church, equestrian statue of Ferreira do Amaral (today it stands in Lisbon, as Chinese removed it after it regained control), Hotel Lisboa, and more.

Historic Centre of Macao - UNESCO World Heritage Site
The Historic Centre of Macao is a fascinating and interesting UNESCO World Heritage Site in China. Located on China's southern coast, just across the water from Hong Kong, Macao was ruled as a Portuguese colony right through until 1999. It's a really interesting mix of Chinese culture with Portuguese architecture, and a really intruiging place to explore. Let's check it out!

A Portuguese Odyssey in Macau - Documentary Experimental Film
A moving story about one Macaunese man's journey to discover his roots all over the world. This charts his travels all over Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas in search of himself.
This was my second year experimental film produced at the Northern Film School, and was changed a lot from the original idea because of a certain global catastrophe, meaning I couldn't film any original footage for it outside as planned. Still, I made a whole new concept using stock footage, enjoy!

The Historic Centre of Macao, also known as the Centro Histórico de Macau (Chinese: 澳門歷史城區; Portuguese: Centro Histórico de Macau), is a collection of over twenty locations that witness the unique assimilation and co-existence of Chinese and Portuguese cultures in Macau, a former Portuguese colony. It represents the architectural legacies of the city's cultural heritage, including monuments such as urban squares, streetscapes, churches and temples. In 2005 the Historic Centre of Macau was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, making it the 31st designated World Heritage site in China.
