What I Wish I'd Known Before I Sailed Norwegian Cruise Line
When it comes to the major cruise lines, there's what I consider the big three -- Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian. There are a lot of similarities between those three, but if I'm being honest, NCL stands out as an outlier from the other two.
The cruise line has a lot of things going on that I didn't realize until I sailed multiple times across different ships.
I'm talking about things like how the atmosphere on the ship is different than other rivals... how your day in port isn't a guarantee... and how one of the most popular sales in cruising has some fine print to know.

We are on a 12 night Caribbean sailing visiting Limón Costa Rica, Colon Panama, Cartagena Colombia, Oranjestad Aruba, Willemstad Curaçao, and Great Stirrup Cay (Norwegian’s private island)! This will mark as our longest sailing, so we are very excited to enjoy this new itinerary, as well as have plenty of time to see what NCL is all about!

This is a video of the ship interspersed with shots of the three islands we visited during the cruise (Nassau, St Thomas, and Tortola). We took a 7-day Caribbean Cruise on the Norwegian Escape from Jan 16 - 23, 2016. This video was filmed with the iPhone 6S Plus and GoPro 4 camera and shows a quick sample of what we saw and did on the amazing Norwegian Escape ship.
We visited St. Thomas, Tortola, and Nassau, Bahamas. This cruise departed from the Port of Miami.

Our cruise was in December 2016 on the Norwegian Escape ship. Our itinerary was St. Thomas (U.S.V.I), Tortola (B.V.I) and Nassau, Bahamas. All video was shot in St. Thomas and Magens Bay.

What an amazing time on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands! We took the island tour and ended up having lunch at a local recommended restaurant called Cuzzin's. It rained off and on, but we did get sunshine! Walked back to the ship from downtown.
