One NVR recorder:
The reason to get 8 channel is if you want to have more than four cameras, either now or in the future. If you know you want just 4 channels you can save by ordering a four channel NVR.
When we ordered the recorder, we added 2 Terabyte memory which they installed. We see that we have about two weeks of data by leaving four cameras on all the time. Therefore we think you'll be fine by adding just 1 Terabyte memory at time of order.

We only booked this one a day in advance. A rare day off together and the last weekend of the season before this trip closes down until spring, increased the urgency of getting this one done for the channel!
Filmed, as always on GoPro8 and Canon 250D, this 'landing cruise' to Inchcolm took place in the last weekend of October 2020 and cost approx £20 each including the landing fees to set foot on the island.
I've been going to Inchcolm since I was very young, but now trips are only every few years and it's always nice to see the place - you'll also see a reference to a very young Steve Marsh on this one so look out for that :D

Hyundai Terracan - 5 years of Adventures - Fraser Island, Far North Queensland, Robe, Melbourne.
Bought it in February 2016 from a dealership in Melbourne with a dodgy R.W.C. with 240k ish was my first car I bought on Australian soil, my first 4wd and somehow I managed to bring it up to almost 310k.
It's been a fantastic mate of adventure, surprisingly good on and off road for my necessity.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of maintenance of the previous owner and the crazy idea of installing a gas system, the reliability was already compromised.
Despite that, I drove the east coast from Melbourne to Cairns in 2016 and then back to Melbourne again in 2019 but this time without missing the amazing adventure on Fraser Island, Far North Queensland and Robe.
It went from a stock standard vehicle to a fully kitted 4wd allowing us to camp in national parks completely self sufficient with fridge, auxiliary battery, awning, water, shower and toilet kit.
Unfortunately, as I expected, the engine decided to turn off on the highway without starting anymore and after have brought it back to life already twice I decided that was the right time to let him go.
In this tribute video I want to make sure that our memories together will never be forgotten.

Cramond island is a stones throw from the centre of Edinburgh. With its causeway connection to the mainland, it can be reached a couple of times a day at low tide. We spent the day there and then camped overnight with only a handful of other people on the whole island. The addition of our shower/toilet setup made our truck camping experience during our epic road trips much more pleasant.
