In September 2016, I travelled to North Korea to attend the country's first ever air show; Wonsan AirShow. It was the most exotic air show I have ever attended, with a line-up of the rare Soviet vintage fleet of Air Koryo, the usual off limits of the North Korean Air Force, many joy flights on Air Koryo and the possibility to meet with North Koreans freely at the air show.
The air show was an unqualified smash hit! showing off North Korea’s aviation scene and bringing together foreign visitors and locals without hindrance, for the first time in the country’s history.
In the video, I also share what's it like to fly on Air Koryo's exotic fleet. From the modern Tupolev 204 to the vintage classic IL-18, IL-62, IL-76 and Tu-154. It is definitely an exotic experience you don't want to miss!

This was my last day in North Korea and as i did not have double entry china visa i had to take flight out of the country to Beijing and then take a transit visa and reach India. I travelled with the North Korea's National airline which is AIR KORYO and also the only 1 star airline in the world but personally i liked the quality of seats and food was also included in the flight so can't say it as a 1 star airline.

My LIFE in NORTH KOREA - a TRIP to PYONGYANG!
North Korea has been on my list for years and finally I made it. This short VLOG should give you a little impression of what it is like to travel to the DPRK or better known as North Korea.
I went on a 3-days tour starting in Dandong, China. I went with Young Pioneer Tours and it was an incredible experience.
I don't have an opinion on whether it was staged or not, whether they are bad or good, or how I feel about the whole trip. I went to the DPRK as a tourist and for a cultural exchange. From human to human, without a political agenda.

AIR KORYO Will Fly From PYONGYANG, NORTH KOREA To MACAU
Air Koryo is set to launch flights from Pyongyang, North Korea to Macau after 20 years. The flights will begin on August 2nd and run for about two months, when route authority will be required to be renewed. Air Koryo, North Korea's airline currently flies to cities like Beijing, Shenyang, and Vladivostok.
