Norfolk Island Trip Before COVID19 - Highlights in 4K

I still have some video footage from my trip to Norfolk Island in 2019, which I have never got any chance to look at until now. A year later, COVID hit the world, and it changed everything and everyone. Some of the memories are real, while some are simply becoming more and more blurred.

Norfolk Island, a tiny island close to Australia in the South Pacific Ocean, is defined by pine trees and jagged cliffs. Sandy beaches include Emily Bay, with reef-protected waters. Norfolk Island National Park offers views over palm forests from Mt. Pitt. In the capital Kingston, the Norfolk Island Museum traces the island's colourful past. The Kingston and Arthur's Vale Historic Area has a ruined British penal colony.

Air NZ A320 Landing & Takeoff from Norfolk Island Airport (4K)

This video is about my recent visit to Norfolk Island from Sydney. I was flying with Air New Zealand on one of its A320s. This is my first time taking Air NZ and I found the inflight service is really good. The view of the airport from the mountain is amazing. It would be a great place to see the plane landing or takeoff from that location. While we were waiting for our flight inside Norfolk island airport, a local dog walked in and wandered around the waiting area for us to pad...how cute!
Qantas just announced direct flights between Sydney and Norfolk Island in March 2021.
