Dr. Purdom “A man by the name of Parsons a scientist back in 1997 published a paper where he looked at the control region that regulatory region of mitochondrial DNA as a molecular clock so he was gonna use that to study some relationships and what he expected to find was that there
would be one mutation every 12 thousand years that's what he expected to find...(he) found that actually the mutation rate is much much quicker it's only it's one mutation every eight hundred years...that's orders of magnitude faster than what they ever expected now that in and of itself isn't so much of a problem but it is a huge problem for them when you apply it to human evolution because the problem is that mitochondrial Eve becomes six thousand years old!”

Creation Museum & The Ark Encounter - September 2019
This was filmed in September of 2019 and part two of mine and Christa's adventure traveling with Christian Tours for the first time. In this episode we explore the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter in Kentucky. These places were SO. MUCH. FUN. We both learned a lot, saw some pretty cool things and got to hang out with some really cute animals!
