Nikon Mirrorless Announcement, Lets Talk Nikon Z6 & Z7
we have recently seen leaked images of the upcoming Nikon mirrorless cameras. It seems that Nikon's approach with their new mirrorless bodies being the z7 and Z6 is to copy Sony's business model. with these upcoming Nikon mirrorless cameras we can see that Nikon is choosing to use the same camera bodies but Place different sensors and different Tech inside each of these cameras. this approach allows Nikon to manufacture the bodies for these mirrorless cameras significantly cheaper than that of their conventional cameras. Along with this reduced cost in manufacturing I'm hoping that Nikon's new mirrorless cameras are able to pack more Tech and more Innovative features inside. Along with these new mirrorless camera designs using the same camera bodies would allow Nikon to engineer the thermal dynamics of the processor research and development cost. while Sony has in my opinion changed the industry by using one camera body design to lower production costs and provide Tech at a rock-bottom price I find it especially interesting that Nikon has taken this approach with their cameras and it gives me a lot of hope that Nikon will use the Savings in research and development to add more video features which has been a place that Nikon has traditionally been lacking. Will the new Nikon Mirrorless z6 & z7 ba genuine threat to Sony's mirrorless dominance? also it's going to be extremely interesting to see if these Nikon mirrorless cameras will be enough to persuade Converse to come back to Nikon from Sony or will it be enough to satisfy the needs of the modern hybrid shooter?

I Don't NEED a Nikon Z8 But I Want One - Comparing Old With New.
In this weeks video I compare the huge leap in technology between my Nikon Z7 and my ancient D40, all in the hope that it will make my desire for a Z8 go away.
Having some serious gear envy about the new Nikon Z8 I decide that the step up in features isn't worth the money... in other words, I'm skint and cannot afford one!
To try and justify my decision in my own head I compare my latest to my oldest Nikon cameras.
Will I be able to take anything worthwhile on the D40? Is 6 megapixels enough? Will Santa bring me a Z8 for Christmas?

The Mirrorless Nikon Z6 & Z7, What It Means For The Future Of Nikon
with the recent announcement from Nikon and z7 we are beginning to get clear Direction for Nikon as a company. I thought now would be a great time to look at these new Nikon mirrorless cameras the pros and the cons and to extrapolate on the future of Nikon DSLR lineup as well as their mirrorless cameras. I think that there is more promise held in the Nikon Z6 and z7 then photographers such as Tony Northrup and Ken wheeler are predicting. Not because these are phenomenal products out of the gate, but because they are a phenomenal first generation product mirrorless cameras took until the third generation to be anywhere near remarkable. although the Nikon Z6 and z7 have a lot of flaws that are very common among mirrorless cameras I think that they also have some really strong benefits and up sites that other mirrorless cameras do not have. Not only is the Z mount bigger than other Competimg mirrorless camera mounts it's also been engineered to be backwards compatible with the current Nikon f-mount. Nikon has similar approach to their batteries for their new mirrorless system. the new Nikon mirrorless cameras are going to utilize existing Nikon batteries that are currently in cameras such as the nikon d850 and Nikon d500. the same time there been numerous report commenting on the potential Growing Pains of this new mirrorless system. #nikon #nikonmirrorless

Nikon Z6II: Worth Upgrading From The D750?
Having used the Nikon D750 full-time for 5 years (almost my entire portfolio has been captured with it!), I decided to give the new Nikon Z6II a crack out in the field with some summer sunflowers. Is it good enough to warrant making the switch to mirrorless from a proven Nikon DSLR?
